Unitrans Tanzania Limited invites applications from qualified candidates with the required skills to fill the following positions:
Truck Driver – 70 Positions
Work Location: Kilombero
Contract Type: Seasonal
Responsibilities
- Transporting sugarcane from the fields to the factory
- Other duties related to the driving profession
Applicant Qualifications
- Must have knowledge of Road Safety Laws and regulations
- Must possess a valid Class E driving license
- Must be able to read and write
- Must have a valid certificate of training in driving Heavy Vehicles – Rigid or HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) – vehicles pulling trailers (GOOD TRUCK DRIVING – RIGID or HGV (Pulling Trucks)) from a government-recognized institution
- Must have at least 2 years of proven experience driving heavy trucks
- Must have a valid driver’s license free of serious traffic violations from the Traffic Police for the last 2 years
- Must be at least 25 years old and not above 45 years
- Must be ready to work night shifts
