An Office Management Secretary Grade II is responsible for handling various administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of daily office operations. The role involves receiving and dispatching letters, documents, and official communications to the relevant parties within and outside the institution. In addition, the officer drafts official letters, reports, and documents using office equipment such as computers, printers, and photocopiers. They also maintain accurate office records, register incoming and outgoing correspondence, and coordinate with other departments to facilitate communication. 

Furthermore, the officer provides administrative support to departmental heads, which includes scheduling meetings, maintaining registers, and preparing reports when required. To effectively perform these tasks, the officer must have a good understanding of office procedures, public service ethics, and proficiency in using office technology. This position is therefore crucial in ensuring efficiency, professionalism, and confidentiality in office operations.
