MOBILE COFFEE SHOP OPPORTUNITY FOR TANZANIAN YOUTH
YOUTH, STOP STRUGGLING TO FIND EMPLOYMENT
The Coffee Board in collaboration with SELF Microfinance Fund, which is a financial institution, announces to Tanzanian youth an opportunity to obtain a mobile coffee shop with the goal of increasing youth employment (BBT) and increasing coffee consumption in the country from 7% to 15%. This opportunity is provided by enabling a youth to obtain a loan with favorable terms and a low interest rate of only 9% using the reducing balance rate method.
Beneficiaries of the Opportunity: Tanzanian youth aged 18 to 40 years.
Criteria to qualify for this opportunity:
· Must have skills in making coffee (Barista).
· Must have at least one year of experience in making coffee.
· Must have a driver's license that permits operating a three-wheeled vehicle.
· Must submit a strategic plan outlining how the business will be operated.
· Must have an education level of at least Form Four and above.
· Must submit bank statements for the past six to twelve months.
· Must have two guarantors, one of whom must be involved in the coffee industry.
· Must submit a National ID (NIDA).
