The University invites qualified applicants to fill the following academic positions.
1. Professor/Associate Professor – Law (2 Posts)
Qualifications and Experience:
PhD in Law from an accredited institution.
Master’s Degree in Law with GPA 4.0 or above.
Bachelor’s Degree in Law (First Class or Upper Second with GPA 3.5 or above).
Sufficient publications and promotion letters to Professor/Associate Professor rank.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in teaching, research, and publications.
2. Professor/Associate Professor – Sociology (2 Posts)
Qualifications and Experience:
PhD in Sociology from an accredited institution.
Master’s Degree in Sociology with GPA 4.0 or above.
Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology (First Class or Upper Second with GPA 3.5 or above).
Sufficient publications and promotion letters to Professor/Associate Professor rank.
At least 5 years’ experience in teaching, research, and publications.
3. Senior Lecturer/Lecturer – Law (2 Posts)
Qualifications and Experience:
PhD in Law from an accredited institution.
Master’s Degree in Law with GPA 4.0 or above.
Bachelor’s Degree in Law (First Class or Upper Second with GPA 3.5 or above).
Publications and promotion letter to the rank of Senior Lecturer.
Minimum 5 years’ teaching, research, and publication experience.
4. Senior Lecturer/Lecturer – Sociology (2 Posts)
Qualifications and Experience:
PhD in Sociology from an accredited institution.
Master’s Degree in Sociology with GPA 4.0 or above.
Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology (First Class or Upper Second with GPA 3.5 or above).
Publications and promotion letter to Senior Lecturer rank.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in teaching, research, and publications.
5. Senior Lecturer/Lecturer – History (3 Posts)
Qualifications and Experience:
PhD in History from an accredited institution.
Master’s Degree in History with GPA 4.0 or above.
Bachelor’s Degree in History (First Class or Upper Second with GPA 3.5 or above).
Relevant publications and promotion letter.
At least 5 years’ experience in teaching and research.
6. Senior Lecturer/Lecturer – Tourism (2 Posts)
Qualifications and Experience:
PhD in Tourism or Hospitality Management.
Master’s Degree in Tourism or Hospitality Management with GPA 4.0 or above.
Bachelor’s Degree in same field with GPA 3.5 or above.
Publications and promotion letter to Senior Lecturer.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in teaching and research.
7. Senior Lecturer/Lecturer – Mass Communication (2 Posts)
Qualifications and Experience:
PhD in Mass Communication.
Master’s Degree in Mass Communication with GPA 4.0 or above.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication with GPA 3.5 or above.
Sufficient publications and promotion letter.
At least 5 years’ experience in teaching and research.
8. Senior Lecturer/Lecturer – Procurement and Logistics Management (2 Posts)
Qualifications and Experience:
PhD in Procurement and Logistics Management.
Master’s Degree in Procurement/Logistics with GPA 4.0 or above.
Bachelor’s Degree in same field with GPA 3.5 or above.
Relevant publications and promotion letter.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in teaching and research.
9. Senior Lecturer/Lecturer – Electrical Engineering and Information Systems (3 Posts)
Qualifications and Experience:
PhD in Electrical Engineering.
Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with GPA 4.0 or above.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with GPA 3.5 or above.
Sufficient publications and promotion letter.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in teaching and publications.
10. Assistant Lecturer – Public Relations and Advertising (3 Posts)
Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s Degree in Public Relations or Marketing with GPA 4.0 or above.
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations or Marketing with GPA 3.5 or above.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in teaching, research, and publications.
11. Assistant Lecturer – Mass Communication (3 Posts)
Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s Degree in Mass Communication with GPA 4.0 or above.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication with GPA 3.5 or above.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in teaching and publications.
12. Assistant Lecturer – Tourism and Hospitality Management (3 Posts)
Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management with GPA 4.0 or above.
Bachelor’s Degree in the same field with GPA 3.5 or above.
Minimum 2 years’ teaching and research experience.
13. Assistant Lecturer – Geography (3 Posts)
Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s Degree in Geography with GPA 4.0 or above.
Bachelor’s Degree in Geography with GPA 3.5 or above.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in teaching, research, and publications.
14. Assistant Lecturer – Procurement and Logistics Management (5 Posts)
Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s Degree in Procurement or Supply Management with GPA 4.0 or above.
Bachelor’s Degree in the same field with GPA 3.5 or above.
At least 2 years’ experience in teaching and publications.
15. Assistant Lecturer – Civil Engineering and Built Environment (3 Posts)
Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with GPA 4.0 or above.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with GPA 3.5 or above.
Minimum 2 years’ teaching and research experience.
16. Assistant Lecturer – Electrical Engineering and Information Systems (3 Posts)
Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with GPA 4.0 or above.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with GPA 3.5 or above.
At least 2 years’ experience in teaching, research, and publications.
Terms of Employment
Successful candidates will be employed on a renewable three-year contract. Confirmation of employment will be granted after successful completion of a one-year probation period.
Remuneration
An attractive salary package will be provided in accordance with the University’s salary scale.
