The Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS) is a government institution established to facilitate the recruitment process of public servants in Tanzania. Its main goal is to ensure transparency, fairness, and efficiency in the selection and placement of qualified candidates in various government positions.
The Secretariat operates under the President’s Office, Public Service Management and Good Governance, and is responsible for managing recruitment procedures, conducting interviews, and verifying applicants’ qualifications. It also plays a key role in improving human resource systems within the public sector to promote professionalism and accountability in government institutions.
All selected candidates are required to observe the scheduled time and venue for the interviews. In addition, all interviewees are reminded to bring their original certificates and identification documents for verification purposes.
