CCBRT is engaged in extensive maternal and newborn healthcare (MNHC) activities, including obstetric fistula repairs. Its Maternity and Newborn Wing serves as a referral center for high-risk deliveries in Dar es Salaam and the Eastern Zone of Tanzania.

Vacancy: Procurement Officer Intern - Work Exposure Placement
CCBRT is seeking a Procurement Officer Intern who is dynamic, proactive, and eager to gain hands-on experience in procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in assessing requisitions and directing them to the appropriate staff.
- Monitor the progress of purchase orders and other procurement activities.
- Provide updates to user departments on order status.
- Support urgent procurement needs by liaising with pre-approved suppliers.
- Coordinate with the warehouse for deliveries and update the procurement lead.
- Support compliance with procurement procedures and ethical practices.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Procurement and Logistics Management or an equivalent field.
- Must be registered with the PSPTB (Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be eager to learn and contribute.
- Possess good communication and organizational skills.
