Job Opportunity: Business Development Manager at Ramani
Ramani is hiring a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to expand our network of high-quality customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building close relationships with FMCG resellers and major brands such as Coca-Cola, Diageo, and TBL, showcasing the benefits of Ramani's financing and software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal Origination: Independently originate, negotiate, and sign high-quality customers. Manage a sales pipeline, ensure accurate sales forecasts, and identify strategic priorities to achieve revenue goals.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with FMCG resellers.
- Market Development: Develop the market by building relationships with Regional Sales Managers at category-leading brands to position the benefits of Ramani.
- Market Intelligence: Provide crucial feedback on local trends, competitor insights, and industry movements to help shape Ramani’s market strategies.
- Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate across departments to enhance sales processes and execute multiple strategic and ad-hoc projects.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven track record of working in sales/growth teams to exceed targets.
- Approximately 3+ years of experience in FMCG or Financial Services focused on new customer acquisition.
Desirable Requirements:
- Previous experience at a startup or early-stage company.
- Strong problem-solving skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a self-driven attitude toward challenges.
- Flexibility to travel to various regions in Tanzania as required.
