Mwalimu Julius K. Nyerere Memorial Scholarship Fund for 2025/2026 Academic Year
The Mwalimu Julius K. Nyerere Memorial Scholarship Fund is pleased to announce ten (10) fully funded scholarships for the 2025/2026 academic year. Established by the Bank of Tanzania in honor of the Father of the Nation, the Fund aims to promote academic excellence in key fields of study.
Scholarship Categories:

Undergraduate Scholarships (7 Awards)
- Category A: Female students pursuing Science or Mathematics (Division One in ACSEE 2025).
- Category B: Male and female students in Science, Mathematics, IT, Economics, Accounting, or Finance (Division One in ACSEE 2025).

Master’s Scholarships (3 Awards)
- Open to Tanzanians (≤35 years) with First Class/Upper Second Class (GPA ≥4.0) in relevant fields (Science, Mathematics, IT, Economics, Accounting, or Finance).
Benefits:
- Full coverage of tuition, accommodation, meals, books, field training, and a brand-new laptop.
Eligibility:
- Tanzanian citizens admitted to accredited universities in Tanzania for 2025/2026.
- Undergraduate applicants must have completed ACSEE in 2025 with outstanding results.
How to Apply:
- Download forms from www.bot.go.tz or collect them at Bank of Tanzania offices (Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, Arusha, Zanzibar, Mwanza, Mbeya, Mtwara).
- Submit scanned applications via email to [email protected] or [email protected] by 22nd August 2025 (17:00hrs).
