About the Role:
We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Tutor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Clinical Medicine at our Arusha Campus. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality education, mentoring students, and collaborating with regulatory authorities to ensure academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver clear and effective communication to the college community.
- Prepare and provide course materials, including notes, tests, assignments, and practical training.
- Collaborate with staff and students for organizational events and initiatives.
- Uphold discipline and foster a hard-working spirit among staff and students.
- Participate in faculty and departmental meetings.
- Liaise with professional regulatory bodies such as the Pharmacy Council, Nursing and Midwifery Council, and others.
- Serve as the examination officer for the department.
- Manage student schedules and attendance effectively.
- Provide academic, career, and personal guidance to students.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Pharmacy, Medical Doctor, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical school or health training institution.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Visionary, results-oriented, and adaptable to a dynamic work environment.
