POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES IN SAUDI ARABIA FOR TANZANIAN STUDENTS (2025/2026 ACADEMIC YEAR)
The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology is delighted to announce that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has offered 127 postgraduate scholarships to Tanzanian students for the 2025/2026 academic year. These scholarships will be available at various prestigious universities in Saudi Arabia, with a strong emphasis on fields such as Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Allied Sciences.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
For Master’s Degree Programs:
- A recognized Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.8 or equivalent.
- Must be under 30 years of age by 01 January 2026.
For PhD Programs:
- A recognized Master’s degree with a minimum GPA of 4.0 or equivalent.
- Must be under 35 years of age by 01 January 2026.
Required Documents
- Certified copies of birth certificate, academic certificates, and transcripts (translated if not in English).
- Valid passport biodata page (if available).
- Proof of English proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS) unless previously educated in an English-speaking institution.
- Medical certificate confirming fitness.
- Statement of Purpose and 2-3 recommendation letters from faculty members.

Note: The Government of Tanzania will not provide additional funding for selected candidates.
