Mbalizi Health Sciences Institute is an Institute located in Mbeya District, Mbeya Region and is owned by the Tanzania Episcopal Conference which has its Headquarters in the small town of Mbalizi in Mbeya Region. The announced vacancy is as follows:
- TEACHING JOB VACANCY FOR RADIOLOGY CADRE
(I) RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST (IMAGING) GRADE II (2 POSITIONS)
(a) Qualifications of the applicant
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Radiology from a Government recognized College.
- Must be registered with the Tanzania Radiology Board.
- Must have work experience of not less than three years.
- Must have a valid license from the Radiology (Imaging) Technologists Board.
- Must be proficient in using Computer; Ms Word, Ms Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must have received training in "TEACHING METHODOLOGY".
(b) Duties and Responsibilities
- To teach students of the Radiology cadre.
- To coordinate research related to Radiology and radiation safety in the work area.
- To supervise and implement services to ensure the quality of radiation services in the work area.
- To supervise procedures and regulations set by the Institute and the Ministry of Health.
- To perform other duties assigned by his/her Head of Department.

(c) Qualifications of the applicant
- Must have a Diploma in Radiology from a Government recognized College.
- Must be registered with the Tanzania Radiology Board.
- Must have work experience of not less than three years.
- Must have a valid license from the Radiology (Imaging) Technologists Board.
- Must be proficient in using Computer; Ms Word, Ms Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must have received training in "TEACHING METHODOLOGY".

GENERAL CONDITIONS

The applicant must be a Tanzanian Citizen.

The applicant must attach a birth certificate.

The applicant must attach a sufficiently detailed Curriculum Vitae (Detailed C.V) with reliable addresses and phone numbers along with the names of three reliable referees.

All applications must be accompanied by professional certificates, descriptions, copies of Form Four and Form Six certificates for those who reached that level and graduation certificates.
