FACULTY OF COMMERCE AND BUSINESS STUDIES (FOCB)

ASSISTANT LECTURER (3 Posts) – Re-advertised

Reports to: Dean, FOCB
Duty Station: SJUT Chief Mazengo Campus – Dodoma
Job Summary: With guidance of senior staff, conduct teaching, research and public services such as consultancy.

1. Assistant Lecturer (Accounting) – 1 Post
Qualifications:

  • Master of Business Administration (Accounting), or Accounting and Finance
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) OR Bachelor of Accounting and Finance (BAF)
  • Minimum GPA: 3.5 (Bachelor), 4.0 (Master)

2. Assistant Lecturer (Health Services Management) – 2 Posts
Qualifications:

  • Master in Health Services Management / Public Health / Epidemiology & Biostatistics / Health Systems Management or related
  • Bachelor in Health Services Management / Health Systems Management or business-related fields
  • Minimum GPA: 3.5 (Bachelor), 4.0 (Master)

LECTURER (Human Resource Management) – 1 Post (Re-advertised)

Reports to: Dean, FOCB
Duty Station: SJUT Chief Mazengo Campus – Dodoma
Job Summary: Conduct teaching, research and provide consultancy services.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Human Resource Management
  • Master of Science or MBA in HRM
  • Bachelor of Business Administration in HRM
  • Minimum GPA: 3.5 (Bachelor), 4.0 (Master)

Experience: Experience in tertiary education institutions is an added advantage.
Salary Scale: As per SJUT Scheme of Service
Tenure: Four-year renewable contract based on performance

FACULTY OF NATURAL AND APPLIED SCIENCES (FaNAS)

ASSISTANT LECTURER (2 Posts)

Reports to: Dean, FaNAS
Duty Station: SJUT Chief Mazengo Campus – Dodoma
Job Summary: With guidance, conduct teaching, research and consultancy.

1. Assistant Lecturer (Physics) – 1 Post
Qualifications:

  • Master of Science in Physics
  • Bachelor of Science with Education (Physics)
  • Minimum GPA: 3.5 (Bachelor), 4.0 (Master)

2. Assistant Lecturer (Mathematics) – 1 Post
Qualifications:

  • Master of Science in Mathematics
  • Bachelor of Science with Education (Mathematics)
  • Minimum GPA: 3.5 (Bachelor), 4.0 (Master)

LABORATORY SCIENTIST (2 Posts)

Reports to: Dean, FaNAS
Duty Station: SJUT Chief Mazengo Campus – Dodoma
Job Summary: Conduct laboratory support services under supervision.

1. Laboratory Scientist (Chemistry) – 1 Post
Qualifications:

  • BSc. in Biotechnology and Laboratory Sciences or related field
  • Registered as Graduate Scientist
  • Minimum GPA: 3.5

2. Laboratory Scientist (Biology) – 1 Post
Qualifications:

  • BSc. in Biotechnology and Laboratory Sciences or related field
  • Registered as Graduate Scientist
  • Minimum GPA: 3.5

SCHOOL OF PHARMACY AND PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES (SoPH)

LECTURER (Pharmacy) – 3 Posts (Re-advertised)

Reports to: Dean, SoPH
Duty Station: SJUT Chief Mazengo Campus – Dodoma
Job Summary: Conduct teaching, research and consultancy, specifically in:

  • Unit Processes & Pharmaceutical Calculations OR
  • Pharmacotherapy OR
  • Pharmacognosy

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Pharmacy
  • Master of Science / Master of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutics
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy
  • Minimum GPA: 3.5 (Bachelor), 4.0 (Master)

Experience: Added advantage if experienced in tertiary education institutions

  • Pharmaceutical Chemistry

  • Master of Science / Master of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutics

  • Minimum GPA: 3.5 (Bachelor), 4.0 (Master)
