VACANT POSITIONS
- LOGISTICS CO-ORDINATOR (1 POSITION)
Location: Chunya
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare logistics schedules.
• Ensure carrier compliance with company requirements.
• Resolve transportation issues using the “Cromis” system.
• Coordinate allocation of market equipment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years’ working experience in a relevant field.
• Familiarity with logistics practices; experience in the tobacco industry is an added advantage.
Reporting:
Reports directly to the Logistics Manager.
- SHIPPING OFFICER (1 POSITION)
Location: Uvinza
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise market preparations.
• Liaise with transporters to ensure timely tobacco movement.
• Control warehouse operations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales clearance reports.
Qualifications:
• Diploma or degree in Materials Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• At least 1–2 years of relevant working experience.
• Familiarity with logistics practices and experience in the tobacco industry.
Reporting:
Reports directly to the Logistics Coordinator.
- WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR (16 POSITIONS)
Locations: Chunya, Kahama, Sikonge, Urambo, Tabora, and Uvinza
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies.
• Check tobacco bale weights and shipping documents.
• Prepare reports on bale receiving and stock balance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Business Administration, or Materials Management.
• At least 1–2 years of relevant working experience.
Reporting:
Reports directly to the Shipping Officer.
- WAREHOUSE FOREMEN (40 POSITIONS – SEASONAL)
Locations: Chunya, Kahama, Sikonge, Urambo, Tabora, Mpanda, Manyoni, and Uvinza
Key Responsibilities:
• Check accuracy of tobacco bale weights.
• Supervise truck offloading and loading activities.
• Maintain ledger books for incoming tobacco.
• Supervise market centre clerks.
Qualifications:
• Diploma in Business Administration, Materials Management, Procurement, or related fields.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in logistics-related roles.
Reporting:
Reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.
