CALL FOR INTERVIEW

The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism wishes to inform all job applicants who applied for the positions of “Sustainable Food Systems Specialist in the Rice Sector Development” and “Gender and Safeguard Specialist” under the project titled “Food Systems, Land Use and Restoration in Forest Landscapes of Tanzania.” This project is a sub-project under the GEF Impact Program on Food Systems, Land Use and Restoration (FOLUR).

This five-year project is implemented through the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism as the Lead Implementing Agency, in collaboration with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) as the GEF Implementing Agency. Interviews are scheduled to be conducted on 09 January 2026, after which successful candidates will be assigned duty stations.

Applicants invited for the interview are required to observe the following instructions:

  1. The interview will be conducted on the date indicated in this announcement, at the specified time and venue.
  2. Every interviewee must arrive at the interview venue wearing a face mask.
  3. Each interviewee must carry an identification document for verification purposes.
  4. Acceptable identification documents include: National ID, Voter’s ID, Employee ID, Citizenship ID, or Passport.
  5. Interviewees are required to bring ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES starting from Birth Certificate, Form IV, Form VI, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Degree, and above, depending on the applicant’s qualifications.
  6. Interviewees who present Testimonials, Provisional Results, Statements of Results, or Form IV and Form VI results slips WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED and WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PROCEED WITH THE INTERVIEW.
  7. Each interviewee will be responsible for their own meals, transport, and accommodation.
  8. Each interviewee must adhere strictly to the date, time, and venue allocated for the interview.
  9. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates are verified and approved by the relevant authorities (such as TCU, NACTE, or NECTA).
  10. Applicants whose names do not appear in this announcement should note that they did not meet the criteria. They are therefore encouraged to apply again when vacancies are advertised and to adhere to the requirements of the respective announcements.
  11. Applicants for cadres that require registration with Professional Boards must bring original registration certificates and valid practicing licenses.
