The KCMC University, a beacon of excellence in the field of health professions’ sciences, is currently recruiting competent and committed human resources to fill the following vacant positions: –
- ASSISTANT LECTURERS OR ABOVE IN THE FOLLOWING DISCIPLINES: –
(i) Critical Care Nursing (02) Posts
(ii) Community Health Nursing (02) Posts
(i) Educational Qualifications:
Possession of a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing with a GPA of 3.5 and above, and a Master of Science (MSc) in Critical Care Nursing or MSc in Community Health Nursing with a GPA of 4.0 and above respectively.
(ii) Key Attributes, Skills, and Abilities
(a) Skills in designing, developing, and implementing academic programmes.
(b) Ability to design, set, administer, and supervise different assessment items.
(c) Ability to conduct assessments and provide feedback appropriately.
(d) Ability to carry out independent research.
(e) Ability to supervise research and other knowledge and skills development activities.
(f) Ability to serve as a role model and mentor students towards dedication to learning, creativity, and problem-solving.
(g) Possession of sufficient breadth and depth of knowledge and skills in the relevant professional discipline and pedagogy.
(h) Adherence to professional ethics.
(i) Leadership skills.
Remuneration for the Post
A competitive and attractive remuneration package, including salary and fringe benefits, will be offered to the successful candidate. This package will be commensurate with qualifications and work experience, and in accordance with the KCMC University Schemes of Service, Staff Regulations, and Conditions of Service.
