JOB VACANCIES ANNOUNCEMENT

Simba Sports Club hereby announces two senior job vacancies in accordance with the Club’s strategic objectives and governing framework. Qualified, competent, and experienced professionals are invited to apply for the following positions:

  1. Director of Membership
    This position supports the Club’s objectives on membership recruitment, growth, retention, and engagement, in line with Article 32 of the Simba Sports Club Constitution (2018).

Essential Functions:
• Membership growth and retention
• Member engagement and communication
• Data analysis and strategic planning
• Membership administration and reporting

Requirements:
• Education: University degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Skills: Excellent communication skills, proficiency in database management systems/IT, strong analytical thinking, and Microsoft Office 365 proficiency
• Additional Qualifications: Knowledge of data analysis tools and football (local and international); knowledge of Simba SC culture is an added advantage

  1. Technical Director (TD)
    The Technical Director will oversee the Club’s long-term football strategy, linking ownership and on-field performance through recruitment, youth development (academy), coaching philosophy, and performance management.

Essential Functions:
• Football philosophy management
• Player recruitment and transfers
• Coaching development and performance oversight
• Strategic technical leadership

Requirements:
• Education/Licensing: CAF A or UEFA A coaching license preferred; University degree or Diploma in Sports Science or Sports Management is an added advantage
• Experience: 5–7 years of technical experience in sports management with proven football management experience
• Additional Qualifications: Knowledge of football software, data analysis tools, and both local and international football; knowledge of Simba SC culture is an added advantage

• Travel: Occasional travel for Director of Membership; frequent travel required for Technical Director
