NEW JOB: RESEARCH OFFICER AT IFAKARA HEALTH INSTITUTE
Ifakara Health Institute is seeking a qualified Research Officer to be stationed at the Bagamoyo Branch.
Position Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that delegated phases of GLP-compliant studies are conducted in accordance with approved protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The role involves producing high-quality data and reports accurately, on time, and to the satisfaction of the sponsor where applicable.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Microbiology or a related field. Desirable experience includes data analysis using STATA, involvement in phase one laboratory experiments, and prior experience conducting experiments under GLP standards.
