COUNTY COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS AND SCALE ASSOCIATES
Location: One Position Per County (47 Counties)
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking dynamic and community-oriented individuals to join our team as County Community Partnerships and Scale Associates. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact in communities across all 47 counties by strengthening emergency response systems, promoting health awareness, and building resilient communities. The successful candidates will be responsible for driving community engagement, fostering partnerships, and scaling up critical health and safety interventions at the grassroots level.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct community sensitization on GBV prevention, EMS, maternal and child health emergencies, mental health emergencies, first aid, emergency preparedness, and community safety.
• Work closely with Nyumba Kumi Clusters, Chiefs, Assistant Chiefs, Village Elders, and Community Health Promoters to increase community uptake.
• Organize and coordinate household registration drives and community outreach activities.
• Ensure continuous growth in the number of registered households within assigned counties.
• Promote utilization of ambulance products and services among communities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with county governments, health facilities, NGOs, CBOs, faith-based organizations, and community leaders.
• Participate in county stakeholder forums and community meetings.
• Support implementation of partnerships involving NGAO structures and Nyumba Kumi Clusters.
• Support identification and referral of GBV survivors and vulnerable households.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
• Diploma or Degree in Public Health
• Diploma or Degree in Community Health
• Diploma or Degree in Social Work
• Diploma or Degree in Nursing
• Diploma or Degree in Community Development
• Diploma or Degree in Gender Studies
• Diploma or Degree in Sociology
• Diploma or Degree in Development Studies
• Diploma or Degree in Health Promotion
• Diploma or Degree in any related field
Experience
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in community mobilization, health promotion, or public health programs.
• Previous experience as a Community Health Promoter (CHP) will be an added advantage.
• Experience working with county governments, NGOs, CBOs, or community structures will be an added advantage.
• Experience in sales, community outreach, or household mobilization will be highly desirable.
