VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
POSITION: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
CMTL Group Ltd is a fast-growing logistics and transportation company providing transport, distribution, warehousing, and clearing & forwarding services across Tanzania and the region. We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and results-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare financial reports, conduct financial analysis, and provide management reporting. • Ensure compliance with taxation requirements, statutory regulations, audits, and internal controls. • Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. • Oversee transport costing, route profitability analysis, and fleet cost management. • Lead finance teams and provide strategic financial support to the business.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualification
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy (BA Accounting), Accounting and Finance, Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting), or a related qualification from a recognized institution.
Added Advantage
• CPA (T), ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification. • Advanced training in financial modelling or data analysis. • Experience working with accounting software and ERP systems. • Mandatory experience working in a logistics company. • Must be a Tanzanian citizen.
