The Benjamin Mkapa Hospital (BMH) was formally established under Government Notice No. 453 of 2015 as a tertiary referral hospital providing advanced and specialized healthcare services in Tanzania. The hospital invites applications from qualified, competent, and dynamic Tanzanians to fill the following Contract and Volunteer positions:

- Nursing Officers II – 15 Posts (Volunteers)
- Medical Officers II – 10 Posts (Volunteers)
- Assistant Nursing Officers II – 10 Posts (Volunteers)
- Pharmaceutical Technician II – 10 Posts (Volunteers)
- Pharmacist II – 5 Posts (Volunteers)
- Health Laboratory Technologist II – 5 Posts (Volunteers)
- Health Laboratory Scientists II – 5 Posts (Volunteers)
- Health Assistants II – 5 Posts (Volunteers)
- Medical Specialists II (Radiologist, Pathologist and Anesthesiologist) – 3 Posts (Contract)
- Radiographic Technician II – 2 Posts (Volunteers)

- Customer Care Officer II – 3 Posts (Volunteers)

General Conditions
- Applicants must attach an up-to-date Curriculum Vitae (CV) with reliable postal address, email address, and telephone numbers.
- Applicants whose employment in the Public Service was terminated for any reason should not apply.
- Certificates obtained from foreign institutions must be verified by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) and NACTVET.
- Applicants must attach certified copies of:
- Academic certificates (Postgraduate, Degree, Diploma or Certificate)
- Form IV and Form VI National Examination Certificates
- Professional Registration and Training Certificates from relevant Regulatory Boards together with valid practicing licenses where applicable
- Birth Certificate
- Partial transcripts and result slips will not be accepted.
- The deadline for submission of applications is 30th July, 2026.
