RECRUITMENT OF EMPLOYEES THROUGH THE TANZANIA REVENUE AUTHORITY CANDIDATE DATABASE

You may recall that between February and June 2025, the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) conducted a recruitment exercise to fill 1,596 vacant positions. Following the recruitment process, applicants who achieved the highest performance and successfully passed the interview stage were employed to fill those positions in various cadres. Additionally, some applicants also passed the interview stage but could not be employed due to the limited number of available vacancies. These applicants were informed that they had been placed in the Candidate Database and would be considered for employment as vacancies became available, based on their performance.
In light of the above, the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) wishes to inform the public that it currently has a few vacancies arising from employees leaving the Authority for various reasons, including retirement in accordance with the law. These vacancies will be filled using the existing Candidate Database.
Accordingly, eligible candidates are advised to regularly check their email addresses and follow official announcements that will be issued by the Authority through its official website and official social media platforms.
