1. Client Analyst; Commercial – Origination (1 Position)
Job Purpose: To evaluate and manage counterparty credit risk within Business Banking Commercial lending, ensuring sound credit decisions and portfolio quality while supporting structured trade finance and lending solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate client credit applications and provide timely credit assessment services.
- Identify credit and risk management requirements during business proposal negotiations.
- Conduct industry risk analysis to identify potential threats to clients.
- Prepare Business Engagement Requests and present them for credit appetite assessment.
- Present and defend credit evaluations and proposals before Credit and CREDCO.
- Assess profitability, financial viability, and sources of risk in business proposals.
- Support development of quality credit solutions and recommend appropriate facilities.
- Apply Risk Based Pricing tools accurately during credit appraisal.
- Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders to improve credit turnaround time.
- Propose and monitor financial and non-financial covenants.
- Monitor portfolio quality using Conditions of Sanction.
- Conduct annual credit reviews.
- Monitor daily credit referrals and utilization of facilities.
- Ensure accurate financial analysis, risk grading, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Business Banking Commercial operations.
- Sound understanding of financial analysis and key financial indicators.
- Robust credit analysis knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ACCA, CPA, or postgraduate qualifications are an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years' banking or financial services experience, including at least 2 years in credit origination or evaluation.
- Experience in project structuring, financial modelling, and financial statement analysis.

Job Purpose: To provide expert legal support through drafting, reviewing, and advising on credit-related legal matters while minimizing legal risks to the bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review security documents and lending contracts.
- Coordinate registration of securities with relevant authorities.
- Maintain accurate security records and reports.
- Provide legal opinions to business units and credit committees.
- Support high-value transactions and regulatory compliance.
- Advise on legal risks and mitigation strategies.
- Manage filing, custody, and retrieval of security documents.
- Liaise with branches, external counsel, and stakeholders.
- Handle discharge of securities and transfers.
- Prepare legal reports and support audits.
- Represent the bank in courts and tribunals.
- Monitor regulatory developments and recommend implementation actions.
- Perform additional legal assignments as required.
Knowledge and Skills:

Qualifications and Experience:

- Postgraduate banking qualifications are an added advantage.
- Experience in credit assessment and management.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in Business Banking or Commercial Relationship Management.
- For the Lake Zone, knowledge of Chinese Mandarin is an added advantage.

- Coordinate branch strategies to grow liability products.
- Drive deposit mobilization across mass market segments.

Job Purpose: To ensure timely and accurate loan disbursement while maintaining compliance, minimizing risk, supporting operational efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily loan disbursement operations.
- Allocate pending disbursement tasks in the Manager's absence.
- Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements.
- Review drawdowns before disbursement.
- Create, amend, and extend overdraft facilities.
- Authorize transactions requiring dual approval.
- Verify customer data in banking systems.
- Review disbursement checklists.
- Process loan liquidations and account amendments.
- Report suspicious transactions.
- Coach junior officers.
- Process credit card limit creation after approvals.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of lending operations and policies.
- Computer literacy, especially Excel.

Qualifications and Experience:

- More than 3 years' experience in Wholesale, SME, Syndication, or Retail Credit Operations.

- Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, API, performance, security, usability, and exploratory testing.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks.

- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Participate in code reviews and recommend quality improvements.
- Stay up to date with software testing tools, technologies, and best practices.
