TAUR Tanzania Ltd is seeking qualified, competent, and motivated Tanzanians to fill the following vacant positions:
Available Positions
- Mechanical Engineering – 3 Positions
- Electrician – 1 Position
- Plumber – 1 Position
- Gang Leader – 2 Positions
1. Mechanical Engineering (3 Positions)
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven maintenance experience in mechanical engineering, specifically with industrial hoisting equipment.
- Strong technical aptitude for diagnosing mechanical failures and performing preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy lifting and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on the expanded fleet of hoists.
- Ensure all mechanical systems operate at peak efficiency and comply with safety standards.
- Maintain detailed service logs and technical documentation for all hoist units.
- Collaborate with the operations team to minimize downtime during machinery expansion.
2. Electrician (1 Position)
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in industrial electrical work.
- Physically fit with a strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work in remote field environments.
- Knowledge of instrumentation will be an added advantage.
3. Plumber (1 Position)
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Plumbing from VETA or any recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2 years' working experience as a plumber.
- Knowledge of PVC, PPR, GI pipes, and hot water systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual work.
4. Gang Leader (2 Positions)
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of a Tanzania Certificate of Secondary Education.
- Must possess a valid Blasting Certificate.
- Ability to work in an underground environment.
- Experience in blasting will be an added advantage.
- Physically fit with strong attention to safety.
