Position: ICT Officer
Job Summary
Al Muntazir Islamic International School is seeking a qualified, experienced, and dedicated ICT Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the school’s ICT infrastructure, providing technical support, ensuring system security, and supporting the effective integration of technology in teaching, learning, and administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain computer hardware, software, networks, and ICT systems across the school.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff and students.
• Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and security software.
• Monitor network performance and ensure reliable internet connectivity.
• Maintain data security, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Support the implementation and management of educational technology platforms.
• Ensure all ICT equipment is functioning effectively and efficiently.
• Prepare ICT reports and maintain accurate system documentation.
• Assist in planning and implementing ICT projects and system upgrades.
• Train staff on the effective use of ICT systems and applications when required.
Job Qualifications
• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), or an equivalent field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in ICT.
• Relevant and updated professional ICT certifications to support the position.
• Strong technical knowledge of computer systems, networking, hardware, and software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
