CAS SELECTION RESULTS FOR HEALTH AND ALLIED SCIENCES PROGRAMMES FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2026/2027 – FIRST ROUND
The National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) informs the public that the results of the First Round of Selection for applicants to Health and Allied Sciences programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Year have been officially released today, 31 July 2026.
A total of 26,705 applicants completed their admission applications. Out of these, 17,979 applicants have been selected to join colleges offering Health and Allied Sciences programmes. Among those selected:
- 8,936 (49.7%) are female applicants.
- 9,043 (50.3%) are male applicants.
In addition:
- 5,572 applicants (31.0%) have been selected to join government colleges.
- 12,407 applicants (69.0%) have been selected to join non-government colleges.
Applicants who met the admission qualifications but were not selected due to competition in their preferred programmes and colleges are encouraged to apply for other available programmes in colleges with vacant positions during the Second Round through the Central Admission System (CAS).
All applicants can check their selection results through the NACTVET website by visiting www.nactvet.go.tz and clicking on CAS Selection 2026 for more information.
The Council further informs the public that the Second Round application window is officially open from 31 July 2026 to 21 August 2026. The results of the second round will be announced on 04 September 2026.
Applicants wishing to change their programme or college are informed that the Transfer Window will be open from 10 August 2026 to 21 August 2026. They should use the same account they used during the first round application to submit their transfer requests through the Council's website.
