LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
Mkange Graphite Project
Handeni District, Tanga Region, Tanzania
We are looking for a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Laboratory Technician to support sample preparation, testing, and quality control within a graphite project environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and test ore, concentrate, and process samples
- Record and report results accurately and on time
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Support quality control checks and sample traceability
- Follow laboratory safety and housekeeping standards
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, Applied Sciences, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a mining, mineral processing, or industrial laboratory
- Knowledge of sample preparation and analytical test methods
- Basic computer skills; LIMS familiarity is an added advantage
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork
