CONTRACT EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES ANNOUNCEMENT
The Executive Director of Siha District Council invites applications from qualified Tanzanian citizens for contract employment opportunities to work in revenue collection at various revenue collection areas and gates within Siha District Council, as follows:
1.0 REVENUE/TOLL COLLECTORS AT TOLL GATES
➢ Lawate Gate – 3 Posts
➢ Ngarenairobi Gate – 3 Posts
➢ Forest TFS Gate – 1 Post
➢ Simba TFS Gate – 2 Posts
1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Collect revenue at the assigned workstation.
ii. Maintain revenue collection registers.
iii. Deposit collected funds into the Bank on time.
iv. Work at any revenue source as assigned by the supervisor.
v. Safeguard the Revenue Collection Device (POS) provided to them.
1.2 QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must have completed Form Four education or above.
1.3 SALARY
TZS 300,000 per month.

➢ Elelai Gate – 2 Posts
➢ Kwa Mosha Gate – 2 Posts
➢ Kwa Simba Farm Gate (Kwenye Waya) – 2 Posts
➢ Kia Gate – 3 Posts
➢ Serval Gate – 2 Posts
➢ Olkolili Gate – 2 Posts
➢ Gararagua Area – 1 Post
➢ Olmaeilili Area – 1 Post
➢ Sanya Katikati Area – 1 Post
➢ Sanya Bus Stand Area – 1 Post
➢ Sanya Market Toilet Area – 1 Post
➢ Sanya Minerals Area – 1 Post
➢ Kishisha Waterfall Area – 2 Posts
➢ Construction Minerals, Mount Molamu – 2 Posts
➢ Makiwaru and Mnadani Area – 1 Post
2.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Collect revenue at the assigned workstation.
ii. Maintain revenue collection registers.
iii. Deposit collected funds into the Bank on time.
iv. Work at any revenue source as assigned by the supervisor.
v. Safeguard the Revenue Collection Device (POS) provided to them.
2.2 QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must have completed Form Four education or above.
2.3 SALARY
10% of the revenue collected per month.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
i. All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged 18 years and above but not exceeding 35 years.
ii. Applicants must have a NIDA identification card or NIDA identification number.
iii. Applicants must have a birth certificate.
iv. Applicants must be residents of Siha.
v. Applicants must have two passport-size photographs.
vi. Applicants must have an introduction letter from the respective Street Government.
vii. Applicants must attach a detailed C.V. containing a reliable postal address and telephone numbers, together with the names and contact details of three referees, one of whom must be a Public Servant.
viii. All applications must be accompanied by academic/professional certificates and certified copies of certificates certified by a Lawyer/Advocate, including birth certificate, Form Four certificate, Form Six certificate for applicants who have attained that level, and certificates for various training completed.
ix. Testimonials, Provisional Results, Statements of Results, and Form Four and Form Six Results Slips WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
x. Applicants who submit forged information or qualifications will be subject to legal action.
xi. Each applicant must clearly state in their application letter the area where they wish to work.
xii. The deadline for submitting applications is 14 September, 2026.
xiii. Applicants who have undergone JKT (National Service) training or military training will be given priority.
