FARM MANAGER
We are a growing agricultural company seeking a highly energetic, motivated, experienced, and results-oriented Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our farm and ensure normal, efficient, profitable, and sustainable agricultural production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage overall day-to-day farm operations.
- Plan and supervise crop production activities from land preparation to harvesting.
- Develop seasonal farm plans and budgets.
- Supervise and lead farm workers and staff.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of machinery, equipment, tools, and irrigation systems.
- Monitor crop health, pests, diseases, buyers, and productivity.
- Manage purchase and use of farm inputs efficiently.
- Maintain accurate farm records and monitor costs.
- Ensure compliance with agricultural and occupational safety regulations.
- Work with agronomists and other stakeholders.
- Implement good agricultural practices and drive productivity improvements.
- Prepare regular farm performance reports.
- Ensure the farm is clean, safe, organized, and productive.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in farm management, preferably in a commercial farming environment.
- Proven experience supervising farm workers and managing farm operations.
- Good knowledge of crop production, farm planning, and agricultural inputs.
- Experience in farm budgeting, record keeping, and inventory management.
- Ability to operate or manage the use of agricultural machinery and equipment.
- Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions.
- Willingness to work and reside at the farm location.
- A valid driving licence is an added advantage.
