Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) is seeking qualified, dynamic and experienced professionals to fill the following positions:

1. SALES OFFICER

Reference: 2026-30
Duty Station: CCBRT or one of CCBRT shops in Tanzania

Key Responsibilities

The Sales Officer will be responsible for driving sales of optical products and services, receiving and assisting customers in selecting frames, dispensing appropriate spectacles, explaining available frames and lenses, preparing sales orders and invoices, maintaining daily and special order registers using ERP software, collecting cash and preparing daily cash reports, maintaining showroom inventory, preparing sales reports and claims forms, and communicating with insurance companies for pre-authorization.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales and Marketing.
  • Computer literate, preferably with ERP experience.
  • Good communication skills in English and Swahili.
  • Flexibility.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Team player.

2. GRANTS MANAGEMENT & COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Key Responsibilities

The Grants Management & Compliance Officer will oversee CCBRT's active grant portfolio, ensuring effective grant management, donor compliance, timely reporting and proper documentation. The role includes monitoring grant budgets, workplans, deliverables and compliance requirements, identifying risks, supporting audits and project close-out, and coordinating with Finance & Administration on grant financial management.

The position will also support resource mobilisation and portfolio development, monitor donor funding opportunities, and coordinate Project Coordinators and the Community Development Coordinator to ensure quality community data supports evidence generation, research and resource mobilisation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Development Studies, Project Management, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Master's degree is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 4–5 years' experience in grant management, donor compliance or programme coordination within an NGO/development organisation.
  • Experience managing institutional donor relationships.
  • Strong donor reporting, documentation and compliance skills.
  • Knowledge of NGO regulatory requirements, including NGO Registrar obligations.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Kiswahili.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple stakeholders.

3. PROGRAM ACCOUNTANT AND ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

CCBRT is looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable professional in Finance and Administration to ensure accurate financial documentation and support other office activities.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will undertake general accountancy duties, including:

  • Monitoring and tracking expenditures.
  • Preparing donor financial reports.
  • Overseeing donor compliance.
  • Leading audits conducted on respective projects and supporting CCBRT global audit.
  • Bank preparation and remittance of TRA statutory and other statutory returns.
  • Maintaining debtor control accounts for various clients.
  • Maintaining creditor control accounts for various suppliers.
  • Vouchers and petty cash management.
  • Preparing monthly statements.
  • Data entry in the accounting system (SAP).
  • Assisting in drafting, filing and dispatching tender correspondence.
  • Bank reconciliation.
  • Preparing monthly performance accounts and weekly cash flows.
  • Maintaining Moshi's fixed asset register and overseeing acquisition and disposal.
  • Ensuring proper maintenance and use of office equipment and facilities.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintaining stock records and re-ordering.
  • Coordinating and assisting new joiners.
  • Liaising with IT consultants to ensure swift resolution of technical issues.
  • Maintaining the office filing system.
  • Liaising with suppliers and ensuring quality delivery of goods/services on time and on budget.
  • Producing productivity reports using company time management software.
  • Liaising with the Head of Moshi and CCBRT Head Office on other duties.
  • Supporting logistics for meetings, training and travel arrangements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Advanced/Post-Graduate Diploma or Degree in Accounting or a financial field.
  • CPA/ACCA qualification is an added advantage.
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Computer literacy, including ERP and SAP systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Swahili.
  • Team-worker with client focus.
  • Pro-active attitude and eagerness to work.

4. QUALITY AND SAFETY OFFICER

CCBRT is looking for a Quality and Safety Officer to support the Quality Assurance Department and strengthen the implementation of quality services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Quality Assurance Department in the organisation.
  • Monitor and assess all levels and areas in the progress of implementing Quality Services.
  • Lead the CCBRT Quality Improvement Plan and Nursing & Midwifery audits.
  • Support the definition, coordination and control of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Lead and support 5S, KAIZEN and TQM activities.
  • Define the Quality Management System and incorporate it into HMIS.
  • Conduct internal 5S, KAIZEN, TQM and Lean training and awareness sessions for staff.
  • Support implementation of quality-related structures and processes in Nursing and Midwifery.
  • Support the Head of Quality Assurance on daily quality-related matters.
  • Conduct internal quality audits and follow up on audit results.
  • Write quality reports.
  • Support the hospital in the quality-related complaint management process.
  • Support scientific problem-solving processes.
  • Monitor implementation of the Quality Improvement Plan.
  • Assess documentation and provide capacity building where gaps are identified.
  • Support departments in improving processes, procedures and guidelines.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing documents.
  • Plan and conduct annual quality-related training.
  • Collect client feedback and prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Conduct capacity building for teams on areas requiring improvement based on customer feedback.
  • Support review of SOPs.
  • Communicate progress of the Quality Improvement Plan.
  • Coordinate internal assessment on IPC.
  • Perform Nursing and Clinical audits.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in a Health-Related Field, such as Medical Doctor, Nurse, Midwife, Health Administrator or Public Health.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience.
  • Working in a Quality section is an advantage.
  • Clinical skills and experience in managing different patients.
  • Skills as an adult trainer, coach or mentor to different cadres.
  • Ability to mobilize teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to perform clinical audits.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good communication skills in Swahili and English.
  • Flexibility and ability to multitask.
  • Pro-active and eager to learn.
