PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNICIAN
KAMANGA MEDICS HOSPITAL is a registered zonal referral hospital located in Mwanza, providing specialized and super-specialized medical services.
We are looking for qualified and experienced Pharmaceutical Technicians to join our team.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Dispensing medications to patients according to prescriptions.
- Preparing medications and handling refill requests for patients.
- Educating patients on medication instructions, dosage, and possible side effects.
- Managing medication inventory and performing organizational tasks.
- Demonstrating analytical and problem-solving skills while maintaining a highly professional and ethical manner.
- Being computer literate and able to communicate fluently in both English and Kiswahili.
- Processing third-party billing claims and assisting with prior authorization completion.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences from a reputable academic institution.
- A valid practicing license.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience.
