The Secretary of the Employment Secretariat in the Public Service, on behalf of the Controller and Auditor General, is inviting applications from qualified Tanzanians to fill seventy-three (73) positions as outlined in this advertisement.
1.1 AUDITOR GRADE II (ACCOUNTS AUDIT) - 55 POSITIONS
- Duties: Participate in identifying areas for auditing and maintaining their records, prepare an annual audit plan, and implement the annual audit plan. Other duties include: evaluating the work plan and recommending changes when necessary, auditing documents for government expenditures, development, deposits, agencies, funds, special projects, and revenue. The role also involves preparing audit queries and letters, ensuring timely issuance and handling of audit queries and letters, and performing other duties as assigned by a supervisor that are relevant to the applicant's qualifications and profession.
- Applicant Qualifications: A Bachelor of Commerce/Arts with a concentration in Accounting or an Advanced Diploma in Accounting, or a Bachelor of Science in Tax Management from a recognized college or institution.

1.2 AUDITOR GRADE II (ICT SYSTEMS SECURITY AUDIT) - 5 POSITIONS
- Duties: Participate in identifying areas of information systems that can be audited and keeping records of them. The role also includes participating in preparing an information systems audit work plan that focuses on high-risk areas based on the priorities of the information systems audit team, collecting and storing essential information for conducting information systems audits, and performing practical audits in the targeted areas. Other duties involve participating in ensuring the efficiency of information system security controls, assisting in analyzing information and preparing a draft of the information systems audit report, and performing other duties as assigned by a supervisor that are relevant to the applicant's qualifications and profession.
- Applicant Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma in one of the following fields: Bachelor of Cyber Security, Bachelor of ICT Security, or Bachelor of Computer Network Security from a government-recognized college. Applicants must also have a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or Cisco Certified Network Associate in Security (CCNA) certificate.

1.3 AUDITOR GRADE II (FORENSIC AUDIT - ICT PROGRAMMING) - 1 POSITION
- Duties: Participate in identifying areas for forensic audits and keeping records, participate in preparing audit work plans, and collect and store information for conducting the audit. The position also involves participating in conducting and preparing feasibility studies, work plans, and preliminary research outlines, assisting in preparing preliminary research reports and work plans to aid in the audit, and performing audits on various government activities including different development programs and projects. Other duties include assisting in processing information and preparing audit reports, helping to monitor the implementation of recommendations from previous audits, and performing other duties as assigned by a supervisor that are relevant to the applicant's qualifications and profession.
- Applicant Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma in ICT in the field of ICT Systems Programming from a government-recognized university. Applicants should also have practical knowledge and skills in Java EE, C#, C++, and Python, as well as the ability to work with Relational Database Management Systems (RDMS).

1.4 AUDITOR GRADE II (PERFORMANCE AUDIT - ARCHITECTURE) - 1 POSITION
- Duties: Participate in identifying areas for performance audits and maintaining their records, participate in preparing audit work plans, and collect and store information for the audit. The role also includes participating in conducting and preparing feasibility studies, work plans, and preliminary research outlines, assisting in preparing preliminary research reports and work plans to aid in the audit, and performing audits on various government activities including different development programs and projects. Other duties involve assisting in processing information and preparing audit reports, helping to monitor the implementation of recommendations from previous audits, and performing other duties as assigned by a supervisor that are relevant to the applicant's qualifications and profession.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
- All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens and not older than 45 years of age, except for those already employed by the government.
