Program Coordinator - Zanzibar
The Program Coordinator will be a key leader in implementing and growing a strategic initiative. This role involves overseeing daily program operations, enhancing community involvement, and ensuring that all activities meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities: Program planning and implementation, value chain and enterprise development, monitoring, evaluation, and learning, quality assurance and control, and community engagement and capacity building.
Gender Based Violence (GBV) Officer (02) - Zanzibar
The GBV Officer will support NiaJiri’s holistic program that addresses gender-based violence. This includes leading community awareness campaigns, prevention efforts, and providing essential protection services.
Key Responsibilities: Centered response and case management, program implementation support, managing the GBV case information system, ensuring standards and compliance, and coordinating with stakeholders.
Socio-Enterprise Manager - Zanzibar
The Socio-Enterprise Manager is responsible for leading and managing the organization’s income-generating projects. A particular focus will be on the Seaweed Program and the Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Project on reusable sanitary pads.
Key Responsibilities: Program alignment and strategic oversight, business development and market linkages, financial and resource management, partnerships and stakeholder engagement, and community engagement and capacity building.
Field Officers (02) - Zanzibar
This is a field-based position focused on working directly with the community. The Field Officer will be responsible for mobilization, training, and monitoring of women and youth seaweed farmers.
Key Responsibilities: Community mobilization and engagement, program implementation support, training and capacity building, quality assurance and control, and logistics and administration.
