JOB VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Executive Director of Msalala District Council invites qualified Tanzanians to apply for four (04) job vacancies in this Council after obtaining permission from the President's Office, Public Service Management and Good Governance as per the following breakdown:
1.0 RECORDS ASSISTANT GRADE II - 4 POSITIONS
1.1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Listing incoming letters in the registry (incoming correspondence register)
ii. Listing outgoing letters from the institution (outgoing correspondence register)
iii. Distributing files to Action Officers (action officers)
iv. Receiving files from Action Officers (action officers)
v. Files returning to the registry from Action Officers
vi. Returning files to the file racks/filing cabinets (racks/filling cabinets) or other storage places
vii. Tracking the movement of files within the Institution (file tracking)
1.1.2 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
Must have Form Four (IV) or Form Six (VI) education and have completed a Diploma (NTA Level 6) in the field of Records Management from Government-recognized colleges, with computer skills.
1.1.3 SALARY
The salary level is TGS C1.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
i. All applicants must be Tanzanian Citizens aged between 18 and 45 years, except for those already employed by the Government;
ii. Applicants must submit a detailed personal description (Detailed CV) with a reliable Address and Phone numbers along with the names of three reliable referees (Referees);
iii. Applicants must attach copies of Form Four or Form Six certificates, Professional certificates and a birth certificate. Applicants who submit "Result Slip", "Statement of Results", "Provisional Results" or "Transcripts WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED;
iv. For Applicants who studied outside the country for Form Four or Form Six education, they must submit verification from the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA).
v. For applicants who studied at Colleges outside the country, they must submit verification from the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU);
vi. The signed application letter by the Applicant can be written in English or Kiswahili;
vii. Applicants with special needs/disability are required to specify in their applications;
viii. Applicants who submit false information will face legal action according to the Country's Laws;
ix. Applicants who have retired from the Public Service are not allowed to apply, unless they have permission from the Chief Secretary;
x. Candidates whose names differ in their documents must submit a sworn affidavit for name change (Deed Poll) registered with the Ministry of Lands.
xi. The deadline for submitting applications is 04/12/2025 at 3:30 PM.
