Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Manager
To ensure the efficient and cybersecure design, installation, and operation of IT infrastructure at all data centres (physical or cloud-based), in Head Office and branch offices.
Job Responsibilities:
• Works with IT team and strategic service partners to design systems architecture, build and deploy at BTFL offices
• Monitors and ensures high quality IT service partner service delivery
• Provides expert infrastructure support to all IT project implementations.
• Significantly contributes to achieving the IT department’s strategic objectives and ensures effective solutions are created and implemented to meet business requirements
• Ensures an effective and validated Disaster Recovery infrastructure exists for each branch office
• Develops with BI IT, and maintains a cybersecurity and infrastructure system monitoring strategy, using an effective tool portfolio
• Creates a communication plan to ensure all team members are well-informed of architecture standards, implementation guidelines and process expectations
• Acts as the lead systems architect at BTFL for all system design and implementation activities
• Works with BI IT to protect both cloud and on-premises Data Centers via effective security, storage, backup/recovery and disaster recovery techniques
• Adheres to audit and compliance expectations and continually seeks to improve system controls and cybersecurity
• Ensures that all implementation initiatives follow established change management policies/ITIL compliant processes
• Maintains up-to-date asset and licensing inventories at Head office and branch offices
Safeguarding responsibilities
• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing technical and infrastructure services
• Must have proven leadership skills and strategic planning capability
• Must be ITIL certified and certified in Cybersecurity
• Experience with applications and databases a plus
• Must have experience with Disaster Recovery System Design and Recovery Planning
• Experience with Enterprise Systems Monitoring and Management Tools required
• Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO)
• SIEM, EDR/XDR, vulnerability scanning experience
• Firewall and Web applications configurations and monitoring experience (Fortigate)
• Ability to work effectively and maintain partnerships with service vendors
• Requires an understanding of, and a commitment to advancing the mission and core values of BRAC International and, the ability to incorporate them into the job setting and articulate them to staff

Legal and Recovery Officer (2)
To provide legal expertise and services to BRAC in Tanzania, i.e. to develop and implement strategies on proper legal recovery of the overdue loans, review and prepare loan agreements and other corporate and legal documents, assistance on the interpretation and translation of country legislations, litigation of civil, recovery, and labour cases.
Job Responsibilities:
• To develop and implement proper strategies on recovery of the overdue loans
• To make follow up on recoveries cases at Primary, District, High court and District Land and Housing Tribunal across the country and maintain a list of recovery cases
• Carry out legal research and offer legal advice and guidance on proactive compliance with new legislation and or best practices likely to affect the Microfinance business, policy and operating environment
• Regularly review fraud investigation reports and findings and make recommendations for appropriate legal action.
• Closely follow up on cases reported to police stations and hold watching briefs in criminal proceedings in courts of law in respect of matters reported by the company and accordingly report progress
• Submit monthly reports on new and existing legal suits by and against the company, progress of credit recovery cases assigned for collection, trend and exposure analysis thereof, and recommend strategies.
• Regularly review and perfect documentation for Credit facilities to Microfinance customers in line with Microfinance policy and relevant legislation
• To review and prepare contracts and other corporate and legal documents
• Training of staff in all legal issues arising out of BRAC in Tanzania operations including assisting the company in identifying genuine securities
• To coordinate and oversee legal compliance-related activities across field offices in the country and, within delegated authority, to represent BRAC Tanzania in legal litigations in courts and quasi-judicial bodies.
• Participate, from time to time, in reviews and amendments of various BRAC Policies and Procedures.
• Preparation of progress and annual legal affairs reports.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree of Laws degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practise. Must be a Registered Advocate.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in legal practices especial litigation
• Excellent knowledge on recovery cases and in all legal matters related to the operations of the company and more categorically on laws governing financial institutions
• Demonstrated knowledge on labour matters
• Planning skills including ability to work accurately and meet deadlines
• Demonstrated mature sense of judgment
• Management of Diversity at workplace
• Excellent communication and presentation skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Demonstrates strong analytical skills and ability to conduct comprehensive legal research on a range of issues, including those of a unique and/or complex nature.

Assistant Digital Transformation Manager
The role will support the development and execution of the company's digital transformation strategy. This role involves assisting with the management of key projects, analysing data to inform decisions, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of new digital solutions and processes.
Job Responsibilities:
• Project Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of digital transformation projects, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between Digital unit, IT, Finance, business units, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and to facilitate communication.
• Data and Analysis: Support the collection and analysis of data to track project progress, measure the impact of digital initiatives, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
• Change Management: Help implement change management plans to support the adoption of new technologies and processes by employees.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare high-quality documents, presentations, and reports for various audiences, including project updates and findings.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve business processes using new digital tools and automation.
• Research: Assist in researching industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for digital innovation.
• Training and Support: Provide support and training to teams as they adapt to new digital systems and workflows.

• Familiarity with digital technologies and software platforms.
• Experience in customer support will be an added advantage.
• Fair exposure in digital financial services.
