ANNOUNCEMENT: LIST OF YOUTH SELECTED TO JOIN VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL TRAINING INSTITUTIONS IN VARIOUS TRADES AND THE RESERVE LIST – JANUARY 2026
The relevant authorities are pleased to announce the official list of youth who have been selected to join vocational and technical training institutions in various skill-based fields for the January 2026 intake. This announcement also includes a reserve list of qualified applicants who may be admitted should vacancies arise. The selection process was conducted with great care to ensure fairness, transparency, and equal opportunity for all applicants, in line with national objectives of empowering youth through practical skills development.
Vocational and technical education plays a vital role in preparing young people for the labor market by equipping them with hands-on skills that are directly applicable to real-world employment and self-reliance. The selected candidates will be trained in diverse fields, including but not limited to carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical installation, automotive mechanics, tailoring, welding and fabrication, information and communication technology, food production, and other industry-relevant trades. These programs are designed to respond to current market demands and support national economic growth.
Applicants whose names appear on the main selection list are required to report to their respective institutions within the time frame specified by the training providers. They are advised to carefully read all instructions related to registration, reporting dates, required documents, and any fees or materials needed before commencement of training. Failure to report within the stipulated period may result in forfeiture of the opportunity, and the position may be offered to candidates from the reserve list.
The reserve list consists of applicants who met the selection criteria but could not be accommodated due to limited training slots. Candidates on the reserve list are encouraged to remain patient and prepared, as they may be contacted if spaces become available before or shortly after the start of the training session. Being on the reserve list reflects merit and readiness for training, and such candidates are strongly encouraged to continue pursuing skill development opportunities.
This intake represents an important step toward strengthening the skilled workforce and reducing youth unemployment through practical, competency-based training. All selected youth are encouraged to commit themselves fully to the training programs, uphold discipline, and make the most of this opportunity to build sustainable careers and contribute positively to their communities and the nation at large.
