Taifa Gas is looking for qualified and motivated individuals to fill the following positions:
- POSITION: GRADUATE TRAINEE HSSE
Working Station: Dar es Salaam
Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering/Environmental/Health & Safety or equivalent.
• Proven 1 to 2 years’ experience in HSSEQ management preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Reasonable knowledge and experience in risk and crisis management frameworks as well as incident/accident investigation and reporting.
• Exposure or knowledge of codes and standards for Oil and Gas operations, especially Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).
• Possession of NOSHC 1 and NOSHC 2 certifications, NEBOSH Diploma, or equivalent qualifications supporting HSE management.
• Experience and knowledge of ISO standards 14001 and 18001.
• Must possess multi-skills background such as operations, sales, and technical, with demonstrable interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight schedules.
• Willingness to travel to remote areas.
• Certification in any of the HSSEQ standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001) is an added advantage.

- POSITION: SHOP SALES DRIVER
Working Station: Pemba
Requirements:
• Education level: College certificate or ordinary diploma in a related field.
• 2–3 years’ experience in sales and customer care services.
• 1–2 years of experience in riding a motorcycle with a relevant and valid driving licence.
• Sales knowledge and experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Conversant with stock management.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Ability to handle pressure.
• High level of discipline and trustworthiness.
• Clean criminal record.
• Ability to work weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations.

- POSITION: GRADUATE TRAINEES CONSUMER SALES DRIVER
Working Station: Dar es Salaam
Requirements:
• Professional defensive driving skills from reputable and recognized institutions.
• Professional driving and mechanics knowledge and skills.
• Fresh graduates and/or graduates with 1–2 years of practical experience in driving and mechanics work.
• Ability to properly drive commercial trucks of 3 tonnes and above.
• Sales experience and practical mechanics skills will be an added advantage.
• Good communication skills (both oral and written).
• Good customer care skills.
• Dedicated and hardworking attitude.
• High integrity, discipline, team spirit, and self-initiative.
• Valid driving licence is a must.

- POSITION: BULK CYLINDER TRANSFER DRIVER
Working Station: Dar es Salaam
Requirements:
• Educational Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in heavy vehicle operation or logistics are an added advantage.
• Driving Experience: Experience driving heavy-duty vehicles, preferably tankers, with a clean driving record and no major violations or accidents in recent years.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to pass a medical physical examination and perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy items and climbing onto vehicles.
• Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of safety protocols related to hazardous materials and LPG, vehicle maintenance, and emergency response procedures. Ability to use navigation systems and logbooks for trip documentation.
• Safety Training: Training in hazardous material handling and safety. Knowledge of fire prevention and first aid is required.
• Compliance: Adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations governing hazardous material transportation, including periodic drug and alcohol testing as required by law.
