DECCA College of Health and Allied Sciences (DECOHAS) invites applications from dynamic, self-motivated, honest, hardworking, and committed individuals to fill the following vacant positions:
- TUTORS – CLINICAL MEDICINE (7 POSITIONS)
Duty Station: Dodoma – Nala Campus
Job Purpose:
To conduct high-quality research and teach students in Clinical Medicine at various levels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Teach students up to NTA Level 6
• Prepare and develop teaching and learning resources
• Conduct research, seminars, and consultancy services
• Participate in community service activities
• Supervise students’ projects and practical training
• Prepare teaching manuals and learning materials
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the College Management
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant industrial experience
• Additional qualifications in Teaching Methodology, Postgraduate Diploma in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (PGD-TVET), or Competence-Based Education and Training (CBET) will be an added advantage
- TUTORS – NURSING AND MIDWIFERY (4 POSITIONS)
Duty Station: Dodoma
Job Purpose:
To conduct high-quality research and teach students in Nursing and Midwifery at various levels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Teach students up to NTA Level 6
• Prepare and develop teaching and learning resources
• Conduct research, seminars, and consultancy services
• Participate in community service activities
• Supervise students’ projects and practical training
• Prepare teaching manuals and learning materials
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the College Management
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and Midwifery or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant industrial experience
• Additional qualifications in Teaching Methodology, Postgraduate Diploma in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (PGD-TVET), or Competence-Based Education and Training (CBET) will be an added advantage
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience
