The Director of Tabora Municipality announces to qualified Tanzanians to apply for five (05) job vacancies in this Municipality after obtaining approval from the President's Office, Public Service Management and Good Governance as per the following details:-
1.0. RECORDS MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT GRADE II – VACANCIES 5
1.1. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. To list incoming correspondence in the Register (Incoming Correspondence Register)
ii. To list outgoing correspondence in the Register (Outgoing Correspondence Register)
iii. To distribute files to action officers
iv. To receive files returned to registry from action officers
v. To return files to file racks/cabinets (Racks/Filling cabinets) or other storage places.
vi. To track the movement of files within and outside the Institution (File tracking)
vii. To analyze, list and arrange records/documents in groups according to subject (classification and boxing) for office use.
viii.To file Records (letters, documents etc.) in files.
ix. To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
1.1.1. QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
To be employed one must have Form IV or Form VI education who has completed a certificate/Diploma (NTA Level 6) in the field of records management from institutions recognized by the Government, with computer skills.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
i. Applicants must be Tanzanians aged between 18 and 45 years.
ii. Applicants with disabilities are encouraged to apply and must indicate in the job application system the type of disability they have for information to the Secretariat of Employment in the Public Service.
iii. Applicants must attach a comprehensive personal Curriculum Vitae (CV) with a functional Address, available phone numbers and an Email address together with names of three reliable referees. “Provisional Testimonials, Statement of results and Form IV and Form VI results slips WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED”
iv. All applicants must attach a certified birth certificate verified by a Magistrate/Advocate.
v. Applicants retired from the Public Service are not allowed to apply unless they have permission from the Chief Secretary Leader.
vi. Applicants who are already Public Servants and have acquired qualifications to enter this Cadre should submit their application through their employers and their employers must certify their qualifications appropriately.
vii. Job applicants who are already employed in intern positions within the Public Service should not apply but are required to consider the instructions contained in Circular No.CAC.45/257/01/D/140 dated 30th November, 2010.
viii. All applications must be accompanied by academic certificates verified by a Magistrate/Advocate which are Form Four, Form Six certificates for those who have reached the level of various training graduation certificates considering the job qualifications, such as.
Postgraduate/Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma/Certificate,
Form IV and VI Examination Certificate,
Computer Certificate
Professional Certificates (Professional Certificate from Respective Boards)
ix. Applicants who studied outside the Country must ensure their certificates are verified by the relevant Authorities (TCU, NECTA or NACTVET).
x. Submission of false information and qualifications, those involved will face legal action,
xi. The application letter should be written in Swahili or English
xii. The deadline for receiving application letters is 22nd January, 2026
