ANNOUNCEMENT OF CALL FOR INTERVIEWS
The Vice Chancellor of the Open University of Tanzania (OUT) wishes to inform all job applicants that interviews are scheduled to be conducted from 21/02/2026 to 24/02/2026, depending on the specific job category applied for. Interview candidates are required to observe the following instructions:
- Interviews will be conducted on the dates as shown in this announcement and at the respective venues indicated for each cadre.
- Every interviewee must arrive at the interview venue wearing a face mask.
- Each interviewee is required to bring an original identification document. Acceptable identification documents include: National Identification Card, New Voter’s Identification Card, Employment Identification Card, Passport, Driving Licence, or a letter of identification from the Local Government (Street/Village).
- Interview candidates must bring ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES, starting from birth certificate, Form IV and Form VI certificates, transcripts, and certificates for all professional qualifications attained.
- Testimonials, provisional results, statement of results, Form IV and Form VI results slips WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND CANDIDATES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PROCEED WITH THE INTERVIEW.
- For cadres that require registration with Professional Boards, candidates must bring original registration certificates together with practising licences.
- Interview candidates will not be provided with food, accommodation, or transport. Each candidate is required to make their own arrangements.
- Candidates who studied outside Tanzania must ensure that their certificates are verified and approved by the relevant authorities (such as TCU, NACTVET, or NECTA). Candidates whose qualifications are evaluated by GPA must ensure that GPA is approved by TCU.
- Candidates whose names do not appear in this announcement should log in to their Ajira Portal accounts to find out the reason for not being shortlisted or to check for other opportunities.
- All candidates called for interviews are required to log in to their Ajira Portal accounts and update their interview numbers. Candidates who have forgotten their login details are advised to use their new email address and password when accessing the Ajira Portal system.
- Candidates whose names differ in their documents are required to ensure that a Deed Poll is registered with the Ministry of Lands.
