ANNOUNCEMENT OF CONTRACT JOB VACANCIES
The Director of invites applications from qualified Tanzanians for contract employment for two (2) positions to be stationed at and .
- TECHNOLOGIST GRADE II (RADIOLOGY AND RADIATION) – 2 POSITIONS
1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Examining patients referred to the respective work area.
ii. Maintaining radiology machines and equipment in the work area.
iii. Inspecting X-ray images for quality and adequacy (Radiologic Quality).
iv. Keeping patient images until results are delivered to attending doctors.
v. Supervising subordinate staff.
vi. Providing professional advice on radiology and radiation matters within the work area.
vii. Preparing medical/diagnostic equipment and supervising equipment sterilization.
viii. Providing initial training to staff assigned to duties in the work area.
ix. Performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor related to education, experience, and expertise.
1.2 APPLICANT QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must hold a Diploma in Technology (Radiology and Radiation) from a Government-recognized institution and must be registered with the relevant professional Boards/Councils where applicable.
1.3 SALARY SCALE

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
i. All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged between 18 and 45 years.
ii. Applicants must attach a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) with a reliable postal address, active phone numbers, an email address, and names of three (3) referees.
iii. Applications must be accompanied by certified copies of academic and professional certificates, including a birth certificate, certified by an Advocate/Lawyer. These include Form IV and Form VI certificates (where applicable), Diploma/Professional Certificates, and other relevant training certificates.
iv. Testimonials, Provisional Results, Statements of Results, and Form IV or Form VI result slips will not be accepted.
v. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates are verified and approved by relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTE).
vi. Retired public servants are not allowed to apply unless they have permission from the Chief Secretary.
vii. Submission of false information or forged qualifications will result in legal action.
viii. The deadline for submission of applications is 01 March 2026.
