ANNOUNCEMENT OF CONTRACT JOB VACANCIES
The Director of Kishapu District Council hereby announces to Tanzanians with the required qualifications to apply for contract employment opportunities for two (2) positions available at Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete Hospital and Williamson Diamond Hospital.
1.1 HEALTH TECHNOLOGIST GRADE II (RADIOLOGY AND RADIATION) – 2 POSITIONS
1.1.1 Duties and Responsibilities
i. Examining patients assigned to their work area;
ii. Maintaining machinery and equipment in the Radiology work area;
iii. Inspecting X-Ray images taken to ensure quality and adequacy (Radiologic Quality);
iv. Safeguarding patient images until results reach the attending physicians;
v. Supervising subordinate staff;
vi. Providing advice on matters related to Radiology and Radiation work in their work area;
vii. Preparing medical and diagnostic equipment and supervising equipment sterilization in the work area;
viii. Providing initial training to staff assigned to duties in their work area;
ix. Performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor related to their education, experience, and expertise.
1.1.2 Applicant Qualifications
Applicants must hold a Diploma in Health Technology (Radiology and Radiation) from a Government-recognized institution and must be registered with the relevant professional councils where applicable.
1.1.3 Salary Scale

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
i. All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged between 18 and 45 years.
ii. Applicants must attach a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) with a valid postal address, reachable telephone numbers, an active email address, and names of three reputable referees.
iii. Applications must be accompanied by certified copies of academic and professional certificates, including a birth certificate. Required documents include Form IV and/or Form VI certificates (where applicable), Diploma or Certificate qualifications, and relevant professional certificates.
iv. Testimonials, provisional results, statements of results, and Form IV or Form VI results slips WILL NOT be accepted.
v. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates are verified and approved by relevant authorities such as TCU, NECTA, and NACTE.
vi. Retired public servants are not eligible to apply unless they have obtained permission from the Chief Secretary.
vii. Submission of false information or forged qualifications will result in legal action against the applicant.
viii. The deadline for submission of applications is 01st March, 2026.
