- SENIOR MANAGER, CORPORATE BANKING
Reporting to: Chief Commercial Banking Officer
Core Responsibility
Growing and proactive management of the Corporate credit and liabilities portfolio.
THE ROLE
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Achieving business targets for assets and liabilities revenue, costs, and number of customers.
• Marketing the ACB brand and strengthening local competitiveness.
• Developing new business opportunities and growing the corporate customer base.
• Ensuring the business segment achieves efficient, profitable, and sustainable growth and quality.
• Delivering superior client service and optimizing business synergies.
• Developing proactive market plans that optimize the Bank’s wholesale business and address corporate customer needs.
• Developing, executing, and managing commercial strategies and tactical business plans.
• Cross-selling the Bank’s products and services.
• Building and managing strong relationships with corporate clients to ensure optimal customer acquisition, retention, and income generation.
• Ensuring delivery of industry-leading customer service, premier onboarding experience, and advisory services.
• Managing key customer relationships through regular contacts and client visits.
• Acting as the prime interface between the Bank and selected high net-worth corporate customers.
• Performing any other duties as may be delegated or assigned.
THE CANDIDATE
Applicants must possess:
• A University Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• Relevant work experience in Corporate Banking.
• Strong credit analysis, documentation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to assess customer needs and develop tailored financial solutions.
• Experience in structured trade finance, syndication, and project financing will be an added advantage.
• In-depth understanding and knowledge of Corporate Banking products.
• Proven sales experience in a client relationship role within corporate banking.
• Ability to work to deadlines with proven time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as a team player.
- RELATIONSHIP MANAGER – PERSONAL BANKING
Job Summary
Responsible for promoting sustainable financial solutions to individuals in order to foster economic development of the Nation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The role holder will be responsible for:
• Managing the end-to-end process of acquisition and relationship management of Group Schemes.
• Working with branches to create a pipeline of potential companies for sales and signing ready deals.
• Acting as the key contact and liaison point for companies in the portfolio for sales and marketing activities.
• Acting as the escalation and resolution point for issues arising from sales teams.
• Ensuring vetting of acquired companies through Credit Risk processes.
• Communicating with Branch Personal Banking Teams regarding product offerings and requirements.
• Managing product and proposition briefs to assigned branches.
• Achieving sales proposition and product range penetration within acquired companies.
• Ensuring excellent business relationships and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Ensuring seamless end-to-end customer service from origination to fulfillment.
THE CANDIDATE
Applicants must possess:
• A Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a related field.
• Experience in Sales and Relationship Management.
• Strong selling, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Good understanding of credit risk analysis and risk management processes.
• Leadership skills with the ability to formulate and articulate business strategy.
• Strong commitment to service excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
