Tandabui Polytechnic Institute (TPI) is a registered and fully accredited technical and vocational education and training institution under the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET), Registration Number REG/HAS/117. In line with its ongoing academic and institutional operations, Tandabui Polytechnic Institute invites applications from qualified, competent, and motivated individuals to apply for the various Tutor positions as shown below:
1. TUTOR – PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES (5 Positions)
a) KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Develop and deliver lectures and laboratory sessions on pharmaceutical sciences.
ii. Design and update curriculum to reflect current industry standards and advancements.
iii. Assess and evaluate students' performance through examinations, assignments, and practical.
iv. Provide academic and career guidance to pharmacy students.
v. Engage in scholarly activities and research to contribute to the field of pharmacy.
vi. Stay updated on new developments in pharmacy practice and education.
vii. Collaborate with other faculty members on interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.
viii. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
ix. Supervise students during internships and practical training sessions.
x. Serve on academic committees and contribute to the academic community.
b) QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED
i. A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or higher is usually required, along with a valid, active practicing license.
ii. Previous teaching experience in a higher education setting – at least diploma level vocational courses, including creating educational aids.
iii. Experience with curriculum development and instructional design.
iv. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
v. Ability to engage and motivate students.
vi. Strong computer literacy.

2. TUTOR – CLINICAL MEDICINE (5 Positions)
a) KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Develop and deliver lectures and laboratory sessions on Clinical medicine.
ii. Design and update curriculum to reflect current industry standards and advancements.
iii. Assess and evaluate students' performance through examinations, assignments, and practical.
iv. Provide academic and career guidance to Clinical students.
v. Engage in scholarly activities and research to contribute to the field of clinical.
vi. Stay updated on new developments in clinical practice and education.
vii. Collaborate with other faculty members on interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.

3. TUTOR – CLINICAL DENTISTRY (5 Positions)
a) KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Preparing, planning, and organizing materials for lectures, tutorials, and practical training sessions in reflection current industry standards and advancements.
ii. Conducting practical training, demonstrations, and clinical sessions according to the set timetable.
iii. Assess and evaluate students' performance through examinations, assignments, and practical.
iv. Provide academic and career guidance to clinical dentistry students.
v. Supervise students during internships and practical training sessions.
b) QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED
i. A Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry (BDS or equivalent).
ii. Registration with the relevant professional body along with a valid, active practicing license.
iii. Previous experience in teaching higher education and handling students in a clinical setting is usually required.
iv. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
v. Ability to engage and motivate students.
vi. Strong computer literacy.

4. TUTOR – DIAGNOSTIC RADIOGRAPHY (5 Positions)
a) KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

i. A Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Radiography.
ii. Registration with the relevant professional body along with a valid, active practicing license.
iii. Previous experience in teaching higher education and handling students in a clinical setting is usually required.
iv. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
v. Ability to engage and motivate students.
vi. Strong computer literacy.

5. TUTOR – PHYSIOTHERAPY (5 Positions)

6. TUTOR – COMMUNITY BASED REHABILITATION (5 Positions)
a) KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Plan, develop, and deliver training modules for CBR students on rehabilitation techniques, disability rights, and daily living skills.
ii. Regularly monitor the activities of field-level CBR students, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high-quality, safe, and effective interventions.
iii. Develop, translate, and adapt educational materials (e.g., manuals, guides) to suit local needs, cultures, and languages.
iv. Guide students in assessing the needs of PWDs, developing individualized rehabilitation plans, and selecting appropriate assistive devices.
v. Maintain detailed records of training programs, supervise field reports, and evaluate the progress of both trainees and beneficiaries.
b) QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED
i. A degree in physiotherapy, occupational therapy, special education, rehabilitation science, or a related social science field.
ii. Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in providing, managing, or teaching rehabilitation services, particularly in community settings.
iii. Strong pedagogical skills (training, coaching, mentoring), excellent communication in local languages, and proficiency in creating accessible learning materials.
iv. Comprehensive understanding of the CBR Matrix (health, education, livelihood, social, empowerment), disability rights, and local community resources.
v. Experience with curriculum development and instructional design.
vi. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
vii. Ability to engage and motivate students.
viii. Strong computer literacy.
7. TUTOR – MEDIA TECHNOLOGY (5 Positions)
a) KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Deliver tailored, hands-on training on industry-standard software and hardware.
ii. Prepare lessons, tutorials, and workshops that cater to different learning styles and skill levels.
iii. Assist students in troubleshooting hardware and software issues during production or design work.
iv. Evaluate student projects, provide constructive feedback, and monitor progress, maintaining records of student achievement.
v. Resource Management: Organize, maintain, and secure media equipment and lab spaces.
vi. Keep current with trends, tools, and best practices in digital storytelling and multimedia projects.
vii. Guide students toward meaningful projects that build confidence and technical skills.
b) QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED
i. A Bachelor’s degree in media, film, communications, graphic design, or a related field is typically required.
ii. Deep knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and/or other multimedia production software.
iii. Proven experience in the creative media industry and/or previous experience as a tutor, trainer, or educator.
iv. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, patience, and the ability to work with diverse learners.
