KCB BANK TANZANIA VACANCIES ANNOUNCEMENT

KCB Bank Tanzania is seeking qualified candidates to fill the following positions:

1. POSITION: CREATIVE OFFICER

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, adapt and finalise minor creative artworks e.g. Job ads, Tender Notices, simple product artwork and all E-Shot campaigns for Internal and external communication, including resizing to fit specifications
  • Proofread, select and check colours on all Bank artworks, ensuring each page is uncluttered and well balanced
  • Convert files and send final product to Printing Companies or Web Agencies for online publishing
  • Manage storage of copies of publications and artwork relating to Bank's communication activities
  • Stay updated with design trends and digital best practices to introduce innovative ideas
  • Support basic video editing or animation projects for digital storytelling or promotional campaigns
  • Ensure brand consistency across all creative outputs

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Desktop Publishing (DTP) for Internal & External creative design requirements
  • Proof Reading

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Art and Design, Business, Marketing or related field (Required)
  • Marketing Certification e.g. CIM / Computer Aided Design (Added Advantage)
  • Master's degree in Communications/Marketing/Design/Business Management (Added Advantage)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience

 

2. POSITION: SUSTAINABILITY MANAGER

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, monitor, and evaluate Bank's sustainability strategy and programs in line with KCBT Green
  • Coordinate rollout of sustainable policies and practices across departments
  • Train staff and integrate Social and Environmental Management System (SEMS) into business processes
  • Design and implement awareness programs for employees and stakeholders
  • Coordinate and support internal business stakeholders in executing sustainability initiatives
  • Develop tools to assess, evaluate and monitor sustainability initiatives
  • Conduct research on emerging environmental sustainability issues
  • Prepare communication plans and materials for sustainability initiatives
  • Manage sustainability reporting and maintain related data and knowledge systems
  • Implement and manage bank's sustainability database and knowledge management
  • Review sustainability program objectives for compliance with policies and regulations
  • Identify partnerships and green pilot projects

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Organize, coordinate training and sustainability capacity building
  • Support implementation of sustainability initiatives including data collection and review
  • Monitor, assess, and report on sustainability initiatives
  • Facilitate internal and external stakeholder engagements on sustainability
  • Conduct sustainability and environment-related risk assessments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Arts, Social Sciences, Environmental Studies or related fields (Required)
  • Sustainability Training & Environmental and Social Risk Training (Added Advantage)
  • Master's degree in Arts or Social Sciences (Added Advantage)
  • Minimum 4 years of experience

 

3. POSITION: HEAD DIGITAL FINANCIAL SERVICES

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute bank's Digital Financial Services strategy
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives across mobile banking, internet banking, agency banking, cards
  • Identify new digital business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams
  • Drive innovation to maintain competitive advantage
  • Champion customer-centric digital culture

Governance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure robust governance framework for all digital services
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Oversee digital risk management including cyber security, fraud prevention, data protection
  • Ensure effective controls across digital operations and third-party relationships

Product Development and Innovation:

  • Lead end-to-end lifecycle management of digital products and services
  • Oversee design, development, testing, launch, and continuous improvement
  • Drive adoption of emerging technologies (fintech integrations, APIs, AI, digital payments)
  • Ensure products meet customer needs and commercial objectives

Business Growth and Performance:

  • Deliver growth in digital transactions, customers, revenues, and market share
  • Establish KPIs and performance dashboards
  • Monitor profitability and ROI of digital initiatives
  • Build strategic partnerships with telecoms, fintechs, payment networks
  • Manage business delivery across all channels (ATM, Internet banking, mobile banking, merchant acquiring, E-commerce, cards, Money transfer services)

Customer Experience and Service Excellence:

  • Ensure seamless, secure, and reliable digital customer journeys
  • Oversee service availability, uptime, and incident management
  • Use data and analytics to improve customer engagement
  • Address customer complaints related to digital channels
  • Conduct competitor surveys to guide pricing and product development

Team Leadership:

  • Build, lead, and motivate high-performing multidisciplinary digital team
  • Develop talent and specialist skills
  • Promote collaboration across business units
  • Drive digital financial service products and sales penetration

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Supervise growth of digital financial services
  • Manage customer recruitment and activation in channels banking
  • Guide digital financial services team on issue handling and customer support
  • Ensure quality service and manage customer complaints professionally
  • Manage and supervise digital financial services projects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Banking/Finance/Marketing/IT or equivalent (Required)
  • IT background (Added Advantage)
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (Added Advantage)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience

 

4. POSITION: COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support execution of internal and external communications work plans
  • Draft, edit, schedule, and track content (press releases, staff bulletins, newsletters, speeches, social media)
  • Monitor media coverage and internal communication channels
  • Flag reputation risks and engagement opportunities
  • Maintain communication databases, contact lists, media archives, content libraries
  • Assist in managing relationships with internal teams, media contacts, service providers
  • Coordinate logistics for communication campaigns, events, interviews, media briefings
  • Track deliverables, gather feedback, compile performance metrics
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms
  • Provide administrative and operational support
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on crisis communications

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Developing crisis management communications
  • Media relations management
  • Collation of feedback from internal stakeholders and prepare daily reports
  • Updating all internal communications channels

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations or related field (Required)
  • PR/Communications Certification (Added Advantage)
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (Added Advantage)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience

 

5. POSITION: SENIOR MARKETING MANAGER

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and lead execution of comprehensive Brand Plan strategy
  • Lead commercialization of new products and services
  • Oversee product launches, pricing strategies, and promotional activities
  • Work with product owners to develop marketing systems and tools
  • Ensure appropriate application of brand usage guidelines and marketing policies
  • Provide expert support in developing effective marketing strategies
  • Utilize data-driven insights to evaluate marketing performance
  • Develop metrics and dashboards to measure marketing impact
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and agencies
  • Ensure innovative media plans and creative material
  • Effective management of marketing budget
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and direction to marketing team

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Manage all marketing activities, advertising and promotional activities
  • Manage and enhance corporate brand through effective advertising mediums
  • Manage and articulate product positioning, messaging, and collateral
  • Work with Design houses, printers, agencies on brand compliance
  • Manage marketing budget and provide tracking reports on expenditure

Qualifications:

6. POSITION: BRAND EXPERIENCE MANAGER

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand experience strategies aligned with bank objectives
  • Conduct effective consumer research and insights on brand positioning
  • Establish brand experience metrics and KPIs to measure impact
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce brand style guide across all platforms
  • Ensure marketing activities embed desired brand identity and comply with standards
  • Coordinate employee brand advocacy initiatives
  • Build management information system for capturing insights from brand initiatives
  • Develop and pitch integrated brand campaign proposals
  • Ensure events and activations adhere to brand standards and policies
  • Develop partnerships budget forecasts and adhere to budgets
  • Identify, develop and manage community partnerships with philanthropic organizations

  • Master's degree in MBA (Added Advantage)
  • Minimum 4 years of experience
