Zanzibar Insurance Corporation (ZIC) invites qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the following vacant positions. All applications must be submitted through the official ZIC Recruitment Portal.
2. BANCASSURANCE, SALES AND AGENCY MANAGER (1 POSITION) – HEAD OFFICE
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Insurance and Risk Management, Business Administration, or Finance.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the insurance industry, including at least three (3) years in Bancassurance, Sales, and Agency Management.
- Strong leadership and staff management skills.
- Proven record of success in business development, sales growth, and agency management.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Sound knowledge of insurance regulations and industry best practices.
3. REINSURANCE MANAGER (1 POSITION) – HEAD OFFICE
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Insurance and Risk Management, Business Administration, or Finance.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the insurance industry, including at least three (3) years in reinsurance management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Demonstrated success in reinsurance business development and target achievement.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills with reinsurers and business partners.
- Sound knowledge of insurance regulations and industry best practices.
4. ICT MANAGER (1 POSITION) – HEAD OFFICE
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Information and Communication Technology.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the insurance industry, including at least three (3) years in ICT management.
- Strong leadership and staff management skills.
- Proven record of leveraging technology to support business growth.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of insurance regulations and industry best practices.
5. INSURANCE OFFICER II (10 POSITIONS)
Duty Stations
- Unguja – 8 Positions
- Dar es Salaam – 1 Position
- 1 Position (Location not specified)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Insurance and Risk Management or Actuarial Science.
- Computer literacy.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
6. OPERATIONS OFFICER (9 POSITIONS) – UNGUJA
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Insurance and Risk Management, Economics of Development, Management of Social Development, International Relations, Public Administration, Foreign Languages, Tourism Management and Marketing, Business Planning and Management, or Commerce.
- Computer literacy.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse clients and visitors.
