Job Summary: The job holder is responsible for providing support to the Head of Legal (NBC) in the provision of legal advice to Business Units in NBC with a particular focus on Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) and Business Banking (BB). This role also involves identifying and managing legal risks across NBC.
Key Responsibilities: • Provide legal advice and opinions to business units in the area of specialization. • Offer legal advice on corporate and investment banking solutions, including Debt and Capital Markets, trade finance, project finance, syndicated lending, structured finance, derivatives, and securitization. • Assist in structuring, negotiating, and drafting legal agreements and documentation. • Provide legal support to Business Units at meetings with other banks and/or clients. • Oversee the perfection and registration of security interests. • Monitor compliance with the legal risk control framework and report any breaches. • Manage litigation or claims by or against the bank. • Act as lead legal support on complex and high-value CIB and BB transactions. • Liaise with external counsel and counterparties’ legal teams. • Provide training to Business Units on legal documentation and issues.
Qualifications and Experience: • Bachelor Honours Degree in Law. • At least 7 years' post-qualifying experience as an in-house legal counsel in a financial institution or at least 7 years working experience in a reputable law firm. • Extensive knowledge of Banking and Finance Law, Commercial Law, Law of Contracts, and Regulatory Framework. • Strong commercial acumen and ability to work under pressure. • High level of professionalism and integrity. • Qualified Lawyer – Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania or admitted in another recognized jurisdiction.
- APPLICATIONS SUPPORT ANALYST

Job Summary: To take full responsibility to manage the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of all Applications systems. To drive convergence of technologies and ensure delivery of technology projects associated with Applications and liaise with internal customers and technology vendors. To drive innovation related to Application within the bank.
Key Responsibilities:
System Stability and Resilience • Maintain the availability and reliability of applications to meet service targets. • Analyze application availability issues and determine ways to improve availability. • Provide IT availability reporting and take actions to reduce the frequency and duration of incidents. • Create and maintain a forward-looking availability plan.
Projects and UAT Support • Support new projects initiated by business, Government/TRA, and Group. • Support UAT testing challenges and perform sanity testing. • Creation of new products in the core banking application. • Facilitate the implementation of innovative solutions.
Business Continuity Management and Disaster Recovery • Participate in BCM and DR for all critical systems. • Support the annual business continuity test plan.

Job Summary: The Retail Banking Business Performance Manager & Product Development (VP) is responsible for driving retail business growth, profitability, and efficiency through rigorous performance management, analytics, and the development of competitive retail products.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Performance Management (30%) • Lead end-to-end performance management for the Retail Banking business. • Develop and monitor retail KPIs, scorecards, dashboards, and management reports. • Track performance against budget and strategic initiatives. • Partner with Branch Banking, Digital Banking, and Sales teams to drive productivity and growth.
Product Development & Management (25%) • Lead the design, development, review, and enhancement of retail banking products. • Ensure product offerings are customer-centric, competitive, and profitable. • Own the product lifecycle management process. • Drive innovation and digitization of retail products.
