DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform field data pickup, monitoring, map making and keep records of the data collected and making reports.
• Ensure high quality data collection and other appropriate quality analysis and control procedures are followed including reviewing reported data.
• Making contour maps and examine amount of earth works.
• Ensure all surveys are done to exceed the minimum accuracy standards specified in the survey code of practice.
• Ensure all equipment used under his/her role are kept in good serviceable conditions by carrying out regular checks, use permissible adjustment and keep track of equipment performance for scheduling specialized maintenance.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the management.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
• Bachelor degree in geomatics or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• 1-2 years of working experience in engineering operations, complexity involved in roads, canals and piping constructions.
• Highly uses of TS16 and dumpy level.
• Knowledge in using software such as ESRI ArcGIS, CIVIL 3D & Earthwork.
• Candidate with knowledge in performing irrigation/civil projects will be an added advantage.
