GRAPHIC & MOTION DESIGNER
The Mission
duka.direct is a product of Selcom and is a fast-moving comprehensive e-commerce platform. We are looking for a Graphic and Motion Designer at our Dar es Salaam HQ to design and produce digital, OOH, and trade materials.
Responsibilities
• Design static graphics for SMS/In-App/Web.
• Produce motion graphics/video clips for Social/Ads.
• Maintain a relatable, professional brand identity.
• Support the marketing team in telling stories about customers, merchants and riders.
• Monitor conversions and adapt your design plan for the next week's plan.
Qualifications
• Fluency with Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator (Static).
• Familiarity with Premiere Pro & After Effects (Motion).
• Understanding of visual hierarchy and conversion hacking.
• Ability to produce a high volume of assets at a high standard.
• Creative copywriting skills in both Swahili and English.
• You aren't afraid of the words "ROAS" or "Conversion Rate"; you design to beat them.
• You enjoy the variety of designing an icon one hour and editing a TikTok the next.
• You treat the Friday deadline as sacred to ensure every week is successful.
