VOLUNTEER VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Medical Officer In-Charge of Morogoro Regional Referral Hospital invites applications from qualified and competent Tanzanian citizens to fill 81 volunteer positions for a period of twelve (12) months as outlined below.

1. MEDICAL DOCTOR II (10 Positions)

Qualifications:

• Must hold a Doctor of Medicine degree from a government-recognized university or institution.
• Must have completed an internship and obtained registration from the Medical Council of Tanganyika (MCT).

2. ASSISTANT NURSING OFFICER II (35 Positions)

Qualifications:

• Must hold a Diploma in Nursing from a government-recognized institution.
• Must be registered with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council.

3. HEALTH ASSISTANT (25 Positions)

Qualifications:

• Must have completed Ordinary Level (Form Four) education.
• Must possess a certificate in Health Assistant or Community Health from a government-recognized institution.

4. INFORMATION OFFICER II (1 Position)

Qualifications:

• Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Public Relations.

5. RECEPTIONIST (3 Positions)

Qualifications:

• Must have completed Form Four or Form Six education with passes in Kiswahili and English and possess a Certificate in one of the following fields: Receptionist, Telephone Operation, Hospitality, Front Office Operation, Front Desk Management, or Customer Care from a government-recognized institution.

6. HEALTH RECORDS OFFICER (5 Positions)

Qualifications:

• Must hold a Diploma in one of the following fields: Records Management, Archive Management, Records and Archive Management, Archive and Documentation, Records and Information Management, Cartography, Geoinformatics, Health Records, Corporate Records, or another related field from a government-recognized institution.

7. TAILOR (1 Position)

Qualifications:

• Must have completed Form Four education.
• Must possess a Tailoring Certificate from VETA.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS

• Must be a Tanzanian citizen.
• Must not be more than 35 years of age.
• Must possess the relevant academic certificate from a government-recognized institution.
• Health professionals must be registered with their respective professional councils.
• Health professionals must possess a valid practicing license.
• Must possess Form Four/Form Six certificates recognized by NECTA.
• Must have no criminal record or history of imprisonment.
• Applications must be accompanied by a Curriculum Vitae (CV).
• Testimonials and Result Slips will not be accepted.
