1. PRINCIPAL, TAILINGS
Location: Geita Gold Mine, Tanzania
Employment Status: Full Time
Objective: Define strategies to ensure geotechnical structures—particularly tailings dams—are fully compliant with applicable legislation, properly operated and maintained, and aligned with Engineer of Record (EoR), Independent Tailings Review Board (ITRB), and AGA corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical leadership of tailings and sediment disposal facilities, including filtered tailings stacks, sediment retention dams, and tailings dams.
- Oversee all phases of the asset life cycle: design, construction, operation, remediation, and decommissioning.
- Develop, implement, and control operational procedures for geotechnical structures.
- Establish direct engagement with EoR, ITRB, and second line of defense.
- Ensure alignment with Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management (GISTM).
- Conduct quarterly monitoring inspections on all TSF's and participate in annual CTO TSF audits.
- Provide input to TSF LOM planning regarding strategy, capacity maintenance and closure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- Postgraduate degree in Geotechnical Engineering is advantageous.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in tailings or geotechnical engineering.
- Proven experience in design, review, and optimization of tailings storage facilities.
- Strong experience with GISTM, tailings operational management, and international guidelines (CDA, NBR, MAC, ANCOLD, ICOLD).
2. SENIOR OFFICER, ADMINISTRATION
Location: Geita Gold Mine, Tanzania
Department: Human Resources
Employment Status: Full Time
Objective: Provide high-level professional, technical, and administrative assistance to the Manager, HR Operations Support to manage and optimize administration services across all departments.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage and evaluate performance of core HR Administration contractors (staff transportation, catering and canteen, cleaning and laundry, commissary services).
- Conduct monthly contractor performance review meetings.
- Create and maintain control mechanisms to verify work before processing service provider payments on SAP.
- Design, manage, and update key administrative systems and databases.
- Support preparation, monitoring, and execution of Opex and Capex budgets.
- Supervise day-to-day administrative operations including staff bus transportation, fleet tracking, and meal tracking systems.
- Oversee compilation and verification of compulsory social security contributions and claims processing.
- Manage verification and issuance of employees' and dependents' medical cards.
Requirements:
- First degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Public Administration, or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years' experience in Senior Administration, Contract Management, or Logistics role within a large company.
- Prior experience in heavy industry or multinational mining environment highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of HSE compliance, contractor performance management, and SAP processing.

3. SUPERVISOR – SECURITY SHIFT
Location: Geita Gold Mine, Tanzania

Objective: Supervise security shift activities in the Process Plant, deploy security officers to predefined high-risk areas, participate in heightened security events such as bullion shipments, and assist the Senior Officer Product Control in Gold Room security activities.
Key Accountabilities:
- Supervise security shift activities and ensure required staffing levels.
- Deploy shift team members to high-risk areas including Mill Cyclones, Gravity Circuit, Knelson Concentrators, Primary Crusher, Mill Discharge, and Smelt/Gold House.
- Attend high-risk areas including Elution Circuit, Knelson Concentrator, Fine Carbon Incinerator, and Acacia for inspection.
- Deploy shift members during bullion shipment and participate in heightened security events.
- Ensure firearms are properly kept and issue/receiving registers are up to date.
- Implement access control and Process Plant perimeter patrol procedures.
- Submit shift reports to CCTV, Senior Officer Product Control, and Security Superintendent.
Requirements:
- Ordinary secondary school education and above.
- No criminal record.
- Valid driver's license.
- Physically and mentally fit.
- Not less than 2 years working in security function on a mine site.
- Fluent in English and Swahili.
- Firearm handling, RRU training, preliminary investigations skills.

4. CLERK 1, WAREHOUSE
Location: Geita Gold Mine, Tanzania

Objective: Support the efficient receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of materials within the warehouse while maintaining accurate inventory records and compliance with company procedures.
Key Accountabilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against supporting documentation.
- Perform stock counts and inventory verification activities.
- Capture and process warehouse transactions accurately in ERP systems.
- Report discrepancies, damages, and shortages to supervisors.
- Issue materials in accordance with approved requisitions.
- Store and bin materials in designated locations following established standards.
- Offload and load vehicles for receiving and distributing items.
- Identify potential stock-out situations and report to supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within assigned warehouse areas.
- Perform daily pre-use inspections on machinery.
- Operate forklifts safely.
Requirements:
- Minimum Certificate or Diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Materials Management or equivalent.
- Registered with Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board (PSPTB).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in warehouse receiving, storing, and issuing operations.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift).

5. TRADESPERSON 1 – AUTO ELECTRICIAN

Objective: Perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on mining equipment, prioritising planned tasks and minimising breakdowns through effective daily inspections and accurate defect recording.
Key Accountabilities:
- Conduct thorough maintenance inspections during preventive maintenance and daily inspections.
- Minimise emergency tasks and maximise planned work through proper inspections and defect recording.
- Conduct CCV inspections to maintain safety standards.
- Supervise and ensure quality workmanship in daily task execution.
- Ensure equipment repairs are completed to OEM standards.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns.
- Prepare comprehensive daily reports and provide effective handover.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Auto-Electrical Engineering.
- Full Technician Course in Electrical Engineering.
- Degree or Advanced Diploma in Auto-Electrical Engineering.
- Certified Trade Test Grade 1 or Trade Test Level Three in Auto-Electrical Engineering (VETA).
- 2–5 years working on Heavy Mining Equipment (HME).
- Competent in fault finding and use of electronic tools for troubleshooting on HME.

6. COORDINATOR 1 SAFETY – UG MINING

Objective: Provide technical safety support to employees and contractors across operations; assist the Safety & Health team to develop, implement and monitor the Integrated Safety Management System and OHS Management Plan aligned to AGA/GGM frameworks, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist to develop and implement effective departmental management plans.
- Plan, implement and monitor the Integrated Safety Management System including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Conduct and participate in incident investigations with focus on near-miss and high-potential incidents.
- Participate in and coordinate risk assessment programs (BLRA, issue-based, JSA/Take 5).
- Prepare inspection plans and manage implementation of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly inspections.
- Manage safety systems effectively including training of personnel.
- Monitor and audit compliance with acts, regulations, policies, codes, procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure site certification to ISO 45001:2018 without major findings.
Requirements:
- Tertiary Safety Qualification – Certificate / Diploma / Degree or equivalent (NEBOSH, IOSH, SAMTRAC/SHEMTRAC, Chamber of Mine Safety).
- Management qualification.
7. GRADUATE GEOLOGIST 2 – MINE GEOLOGY
Location: Geita Gold Mine, Tanzania
Department: Geology
Employment Status: Fixed Term
Objective: Support open pit mine geology production by understanding deposit geology and controls on mineralization to optimize mineable ore blocks and mining techniques, minimizing dilution and ore loss.
Key Accountabilities:
- Work safely and identify hazards while supporting open pit mine geology production activities.
- Assist in understanding deposit geology, orebody geometry, structural conditions, and controls on mineralization.
- Support pit mapping and cross sections, maintain quality control for sampling from faces, benches, and stockpiles.
- Apply blast movement monitoring and ensure accurate ore block demarcation.
- Communicate geological results to ore control, modelling, evaluation, and operations stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit grade control drilling reports, open pit geological maps, and daily ore movement reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Geology or Geoscience related field from a recognized Institution.
- Valid Tanzanian Driving License Class D or above.
- At least two (2) years experience in OP or UG mining environment.
- Geological mapping skills.
- Computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint).
- Ore control management.
- RC drilling supervision.
8. TRADESPERSON 1 – MECHANIC
Location: Geita Gold Mine, Tanzania
Department: Asset Management & Engineering
Employment Status: Full Time
Objective: Execute mechanical works safely and responsibly within LME, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and breakdown recovery for LME mobile and stationary equipment, with primary focus on light vehicles.
Key Accountabilities:
- Observe all HSE policies and procedures, conduct mini risk assessments before work.
- Carry out routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of LME equipment with primary focus on panel beating, body repair, welding, and fabrication.
- Execute planned and unplanned maintenance tasks for light vehicles accurately and on time.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on light vehicles to high standard.
- Complete assigned tasks per shift to OEM standards.
Requirements:
- Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE).
- VETA Trade Test Certificate Grade One/Level Three in Mechanic.
- Full Technician Certificate (FTC) in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 5 years' experience in maintenance of light vehicles, preferably Toyota Land Cruiser models.
- Knowledge of 1HZ, 2KD, 1KD, and VDJ 200 engine overhaul, valve setting, and timing.
- Valid Tanzanian driving license.

9. LEAD, EXPLORATION – TANZANIA

Objective: Plan, coordinate and deliver the operational, logistics, procurement and field support services required for the successful execution of Greenfield exploration programmes across Tanzania.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead planning, coordination and execution of operational support activities.
- Coordinate daily field operations to ensure exploration activities are executed safely and efficiently.
- Plan, coordinate and manage all logistics including transport, flights, accommodation, camps, provisioning and field movements.
- Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely acquisition of equipment, materials and services.

- Lead inventory planning and control for exploration equipment, sampling materials, PPE, consumables and operational supplies.

- Monitor operational expenditure against approved budgets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Procurement and Supply Chain, or Material Management and Logistics.
- Minimum seven years' experience within the exploration industry at operational level.
- Background in service delivery/logistics.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
- Excellent understanding of sampling requirements (theory and practice) and QA/QC processes.
- Excellent understanding of safety and environmental management systems.
